@MeticulAi Yeah! You flick a marble through a woodblock course made of toys. Ideally there's 'secret areas', power-ups to collect, skillshots/shortcuts. Think a traditional minigolf course (windmill, etc.). Gen'd some concept art to give a sense of the idea - excuse the impossible physics..
@MeticulAi@threejs@AnthropicAI Fun game. If you think of this as a "race" gamemode, growing up I played a "minigolf" gamemode for marbles built on wood blocks (ie, obstacles, targeted lack of siderails, clever/risky shortcuts, etc.). Seems like a great natural fit.
@lejeunesimon Ah. See screenshots attached. first modal says to go back, while second inline alert (may be newer, hadnt seen prev.) offers a CTA to switch. I’d suggest reusing some alert copy in the modal. I _want_ to debank from my big5 bank to go full WS - but CRA/gov concerns held me back
@lalit_dhalia@MuzzammilRafiq7@witsdev Doesn’t overscroll bounce give user feedback that an input was registered, even if there’s no more content to see? I actually tried _adding_ overscroll bounce to some UIs in places where it was missing. In your view, what are the main/major issues? I would actually love to learn
@JCKHLRY I’m finding that talented designers are increasingly using --p over --sref; my question: are you finding the best workflow is to make moodboards via curated reference images? I’m not exactly sure how people are doing it, i’ve been sticking with srefs until now
@houshuang Could this work for nonfiction/science/philosophy? I’d love to be able to test:
(1) can I explain & defend arguments from the book without relying on the text itself,
(2) which of the author’s ideas should i view as novel contributions, and which are standard domain knowledge
I am deeply disappointed with the @weetabix eetabix formula change. I am a longtime weetabix fan and have even sent emails in the past praising their products. I am aware that many people think it tastes like saw dust. The new formula takes this to a whole new level. (1/2)
@paulg@maxmarchione People might be thinking of Thiel’s closest quote in Zero-to-One, here.
But of course that doesn’t prevent you from hearing a customer’s problem, then conjecturing a zero-to-one solution.

@momentgenerate@paulg@fermatslibrary That’s a bit like saying a musician’s early death is no loss because someone else will generate their would-be next hit single, as people converge on euphonic music. Individuals can make contributions ahead of their time. And it is a loss, to delay billions of people-years of QoL
@HansCNelson@david_perell One benefit to writing is keeping words on the page. In conversation, you might find yourself forgetting how you ended up at a certain topic or niche edge case. But in writing, you instantiate your train of thought—a constant reminder of where you started, keeping you in check.
@ChristianSelig The very first usage guideline in Strunk & White is to use an apostrophe S (*s’s) for singular possessive nouns ending in S.
Implies that if a noun ends in S because it’s plural, don’t use a second S (chairs’ is fine).
They stipulate that ancient proper names get no ’s (Moses’)
