From 1992-2013, Fergusons era of majority winning, he had still spent the 4th most. He was winning a lot more than Chelsea and Man City even after they’d spent the money to close the gaps

Take Adidas, a club who sponsors both clubs, gave United a bigger contract on bigger money
And they’ll give United more money now again for being in UCL
