Summer is moving season in nyc. We used the sieve web scraper to pull data for all building complaints in nyc this month. It turns out there are a couple buildings you really, really don't want to move into. https://t.co/RrEpVOzd5u
Your fancy Michelin starred restaurant in LA may be dirtier than Burger King (which are pretty clean don't @ us @BurgerKing !) Also if you go to a restaurant in Chicago that's only open on weekends there may be a reason why. Find your favorite restaurant: https://t.co/YDiC1CkBzq
@cthrnzh An Outer Richmond house was cited 3 years ago for dry rot and damage to a deck. Surprisingly, it's still pending as of this month, and (i guess, unsurprisingly given that last part), it was cited again but this time there was also a large hole where someone had fallen through it

@cthrnzh The first thing we see is that there are just WAY fewer citations than in nyc, but the violations still have some amount of concentration. 5% of cited buildings are responsible for 20% of all violations. 20% are responsible for over half of violations (data from this month)
@TeamYouTube our YC startup's youtube channel got incorrectly suspended. The only video on the channel was our launch video (super typical launch video). We've tried the normal appeal process to no avail - is there a person who can help with this? 🙏
