IN YOUR STRUGGLE AGAINST SIN…
Dear Believer,
“You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness;
therefore God, your God, has anointed you
with the oil of gladness beyond your companions.”(Hebrews 1:9)
Think of this Scripture!
🧵
How can you tell that a minister of the gospel is TRULY a teacher of grace?
It is simple. Very simple, actually.
Whenever they preach Christ or teach grace, the main point of all they are saying is
- You no longer belong to yourself
- You now belong to God
- You can no longer live for yourself
- You now live for God
- You have no other choice, no argument, no plea
- You are a debtor to live according to the Spirit
- Your life is not yours anymore
- Your time is not yours anymore
- Your body is not yours anymore, it is the temple of God
- You can no longer live as others do
- This world is no longer your home
These are not instructions o. They can be instructions, but fundamentally they are a product of the revelation of grace.
Anyone who has been taught grace becomes a custodian of righteousness and true holiness.
You will NEVER hear them say - My sins are forgiven, past present and future - no matter what I do, it doesn't matter. Sins can't change my salvation.

That is the unrighteousness of dogs, not the righteousness of God.
That is DISGRACE.
It is the confused babble of men who do not understand the gospel but who are 'blessed' with the boldness of the unruly.
For every student and teacher of the gospel of grace when they discover the love of God, becomes finished as Paul the apostle said
2 Corinthians 5:14
For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died;
2 Corinthians 5:15
And He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.
That's how you know that you have heard the gospel of Grace, rather than the okoto meow of disgrace that has the effrontery to call itself grace.
Yes.
Is everything fine with Femi Lazarus though, his recent interviews are concerning. I haven’t watched them in full though, so maybe I am missing something.
I say this with utmost respect and regard for you Sir, but personally, I believe that for a minister of the gospel to insinuate that a politician refusing to play “dirty politics” is a “bad politician” is a very very serious issue.
Especially when doctrines like “Apostles in the Marketplace” have become commonplace.
How long until we start telling contractors that cannot grease palms that they are “bad contractors”.
It is…saddening that even the pulpit may not be exempt from the menace of calling good evil, and evil good.
Any scenario in which the brand of politics that is being played in this country is defined as “good” by any definition of the word, is an indicator that said person, or people need a revival of good, scriptural thinking.
I trust and believe that this issue will make all of us, as a body of Christ reflect on what we call good and how we judge results in light of processes.

Hello everyone ,
It’s been a very interesting 24hrs .
Yesterday, I made a statement about Peter Obi that generated a very strong reaction here .
My intention wasn’t to make him look unattractive or deride him in any way . It was borne out of frustration as to how eerily familiar this process felt like the 2023 episode.
To be honest , I love Peter Obi and the image he represents. He comes across as really empathetic and compassionate. Even after 2023 he remained consistent in lending a helping hand where he could outside of election cycles . This is not something we are used to seeing a politician do . He remains the politician who has no criminal case of corruption attached to his name . This is commendable and must never be taken lightly.
I apologize to everyone who might have been hurt by my comments yesterday despite what my intentions were .
We all want a Nigeria that works !
I really do hope that the New Nigeria will be one we all get to see and be proud of in our lifetime.
As Nigerians , we must never forget that though we might disagree on issues , we are all in this boat together and together we must do all we can to achieve the Nigeria of our dreams .
God bless you!

@jideadekunle_ I don't even think it is "love", it's just the sense of tranquility that oozes out from a healthy soul that is secured in being learned and without desperation for power.
How do you define a good politician vs a terrible politician?
How do you define a good man vs a terrible man?
I'm beginning to wonder what we have a yardstick for our values
I typed a response but eventually deleted it because I didn’t know how to sound….not angry.
I think you did a better job than I did.
I personally find it very weird when Pastors either endorse or show some adulation for the kind of evil, devastatingly destructive politics that politicians play.
It makes me very uncomfortable because if you admire the “scratch-my-back-I-scratch-yours” kind of politics that is destroying the country, what does that say about your convictions?
It’s the same reason I find it very hard to regard someone who calls himself a Pastor but is perfectly fine with asking “what where they doing there” in regards to the Lekki Toll Gate Massacre.
Very weird.
It is also important to note that Obi tried to create his platform but was denied by INEC.
Obi was also persecuted in LP, he was embroiled in ADC’s legal battles and was almost trapped by the “Politicians” these people praise.
Let us be honest please.
RCCG National Prison and Hospital Ministry has been serving as legal counsel for wrongfully detained prisoners over the years, calling for prison reforms while at it.
About 70m was spent on over 14,000 prison and hospital beneficiaries in 2023 and 2024 alone.
Respectfully, We can’t be seeking a new Nigeria and be pushing such rhetoric. He has repeatedly said, the way one gets into leadership is as important as the position of leadership, so if this rhetoric you’re presenting isn’t alien to him, what is the purpose of the discuss sir?
