Following a suicide blast near the Kabal police station in Swat, a local police officer issued a video statement directly challenging TTP Fighters. The police officer dared TTP to face security forces in open battle field instead of hiding behind covert strikes on police & civilians, the officer declared that targeted violence will never break their morale. Departmental sources reaffirmed that police personnel remain steadfast in their operational commitment to CT duties across KPK.

Footage shows blast victims hurried into a hospital in northwestern Pakistan, after a suicide bombing at a police station in Kabal near the Afghan border killed at least 14 people.

Crowds of people had been protesting nearby when the bomb exploded.

At least 14 were killed (including 8 police) and dozens wounded, as locals protested a rise in militants near a police station.

The bomber detonated after security stopped him while trying to gain entry to the protest.

The “Aman Pasoon” gathering demanded an end to terror in the former Taliban stronghold. TTP has claimed responsibility.

A high value target and prominent commander of the TTP’s Orakzai Chapter, Ahmadur Rahman, known by his alias Muavi has been killed in a UCAV strike in Naryab, Hangu district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Senior Security Officials confirmed. The incident took place last evening. Muavia had recently been heard negotiating the surrender of police personnel in an attack, during which 11 policeman had lost their lives and 33 were injured. @khorasandiary has received visual confirmation.
