You cannot expect stability and progress when a State resorts to violence to quell a peaceful protest with legitimate demands.

Many unarmed peaceful protesters, demanding their rights to be restored were martyred last night. The numbers cannot be verified because hospitals have been ordered to not give out information. At this time we have confirmation of 12 martyrs but the numbers are greater.

The visuals coming out are bone chilling. These orders were not given or executed by an occupational force, Jalliyan wala massacre was.

The callousness of the government spokespersons and their hate fuelled vitriol is disgusting. Stop blaming the victim and take time to reflect on your actions fuelled by fear because one day you will have to answer for this, in this life if not the next.
