• The Nigeria Correctional Service (NCS) has revealed that it spends more money on feeding dogs than on inmates.

• The Controller General of the NCS, Haliru Nababa, disclosed that while inmates are fed with N750 daily, security dogs receive an N800 daily feeding allowance.

• Nababa has requested a review of the feeding allowance for inmates, seeking an increase from N750 to N3,000 per day.

• The Joint National Assembly Committee on Interior expressed concern about the amount spent on feeding inmates, particularly those awaiting trial, and questioned the budget allocation for correctional facilities.

So Nïgerians believe this to be a mistake? So the Nigerian military told you that they MISTAKENLY DROPPED A BOMB in a community in Kaduna and you believed it.

This means that tomorrow they can drop the same Bomb in any community and also claim it is a mistake.

I think this is a way of wiping off people. Air Force once did this in an IDP camp housing many Christians and claimed it was a mistake.

Now 126 people have been murdered including women and children and it will be called a mistake.

What type of mistake is this?

The problem we are facing is those still supporting this evïl called One Nïgeria. The blood of these people is on you all.

I am grieved by the news of the drone airstrike that killed dozens of people and left scores of others with various degrees of injury in the Tudun Biri community in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State. Ironically, the victims of this unfortunate incident were celebrating the Maulud anniversary.

The incidence of miscalculated air strikes is assuming a worrisome dimension in the country.

We need to develop counterinsurgency strategies that will insulate the civilian population from tragic incidents of this nature.

I call on the authorities to launch a thorough investigation into this tragedy to avert future occurrences.

Meanwhile, no resource should be spared in medical attention to the injured and assistance to the families of the dead. I pray that the Almighty Allah comforts the bereaved families and grants the dead eternal peace. -AA
