The digital learning center built by @Miqdad_Jnr is now equipped with free internet for both the facility and the surrounding community. This was made possible by the DG of KATDIT, @i9aufal.Thank you, Your Excellency
for appointing leaders dedicated to the progress of Katsina.
In the coming week, I will lay the foundation for the renovation and upgrade of Muhammadu Dodo Primary School in Layout, Katsina.
This is part of our ongoing efforts to rehabilitate our primary schools to create an enabling environment for pupils.
Also, we will provide 400 desk/ chairs to all the classrooms in the school.
It's worth noting that Katsina LG has over 59 primary schools, the highest in Katsina State.
I am pleased to share that we have successfully completed the renovation and upgrading of Hamza Mai Goro Primary School, Kofar/Yandaka Ward (Wakilin Yamma II).
This project, carried out in collaboration with the Katsina State Government, is part of our commitment to improving education across Katsina Local Government. Today, the school has been fully renovated and equipped with proper seating, modern learning materials, and better facilities to support effective teaching and learning.
For me, this is about giving every child, regardless of background, the opportunity to learn in a safe, comfortable, and dignified environment. We will continue to invest in our schools and in the future of our children.
BREAKING: President Tinubu has relieved Urban and Housing Minister Arc. Ahmed Musa Dangiwa of his position and nominated Mr. Muttaqha Rabe Darma (PhD) as his replacement.
Katsina Central Senatorial District APC primaries will go down to the wire as Senator Yaradua, Abbas Umar Masanawa, and Eng Muttaka Rabe Darma all lock horns in the “Cikin Birni” battle. Interesting times ahead.
Let me enlighten you a bit. It’s a crime under financial memoranda to spend outside your budget. For example, if I, as a chairman, allocated funds for ‘Ramadan feeding’ in my 2026 budget, then I broke no law. Ramadan Mubarak.
Nigerians spend about ₦20.87 billion daily on internet data subscriptions.
It is clear connectivity is no longer a luxury, it’s a core economic utility, just like electricity.
Infrastructure investment directly affects household finances & productivity.
What this means is states that lower data costs unlock growth, jobs, and digital GDP.
In my capacity as the Executive Chairman of Katsina Local Government Council, I have performed the ground-breaking ceremony for the comprehensive renovation and construction of a perimeter wall fence at the Sabon Garin Wayau Primary Healthcare Centre (PHC) in Shinkafi A Ward. This project is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance primary healthcare services at the grassroots level.
The scope of this initiative includes the complete renovation of the health facility, the construction of a protective wall fence, and the distribution of medical supplies worth ₦2 million, along with free delivery kits for expectant and nursing mothers in the community.
I wish to reiterate my dedication to promoting inclusive governance and ensuring the equitable allocation of development projects in Shinkafi ward. The residents of Shinkafi must receive their fair share of government programs and interventions, as they are an integral part of the Katsina Local Government.
Speaking here at @thereaders_hub today as we engage the community while operationalising the recently passed Katsina Startup, Innovation & Digital Entrepreneurship Law.
This is an important step in our journey toward building a stronger innovation ecosystem for Katsina.
