PRESS STATEMENT
RE: FALSE, MALICIOUS AND BASELESS ATTEMPT TO LINK SENATOR SHARAFADDEEN ALLI TO CRIMINAL ACTIVITIES
The attention of the Media Office of Senator (Dr) Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli has been drawn to a malicious and reckless report circulating on social media seeking to falsely connect the distinguished lawmaker to the unfortunate abduction of Chief Adebayo Adelabuβs sister, Mrs. Olaide Busayo Adegoke John-Paul, and her twin sons.
We categorically describe the publication as irresponsible, defamatory, politically motivated and completely devoid of credibility.
Senator Alli is a serving Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, a respected legal practitioner, and an Ibadan High Chief whose decades of public service, leadership and commitment to peace remain unquestionable.
It is therefore absurd and illogical for anyone to attempt to drag his hard-earned reputation into criminal allegations founded merely on unverified claims allegedly made by a suspect under investigation.
For the avoidance of doubt, Senator Alli has no connection whatsoever with the said criminal incident, the individuals mentioned, or any activity related to kidnapping or violence.
The attempt to mischievously link campaign materials or stickers to criminality clearly exposes a desperate agenda by political detractors to tarnish the image of a widely accepted leader whose popularity continues to grow across Oyo State.
We note with concern that even the report itself admitted that no security agency has established any link between Senator Alli and the alleged crime.
It is therefore disturbing that faceless propagandists would deliberately weaponise unconfirmed claims to mislead the public and heat up the polity.
Senator Alli strongly condemns kidnapping and every form of criminality. As a responsible statesman and advocate of rule of law, he has consistently supported efforts aimed at strengthening security and protecting lives and property across Oyo State and Nigeria.
We urge members of the public to disregard the publication in its entirety and avoid spreading falsehood capable of undermining ongoing security investigations or causing unnecessary political tension.
We also call on security agencies to thoroughly investigate the source of the malicious narrative and bring purveyors of fake news and political blackmail to justice.
Senator Alli remains focused on his legislative duties, his commitment to the people of Oyo State, and his vision for a safer, more prosperous and united state.
Signed:
Media Office of Senator (Dr) Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli

Tomorrow's Gospel opens things up. Nicodemus can ask questions sha. Jesus tire for the guy sef. Jesus told him, "if you don't believe me when I tell you things about this world, how are you going to believe me when I speak to you about heavenly things?"
Jesus didn't hide his mouth again. He didn't disguise again. He told Nico plainly, "my guy, I be the Son of Man. No one has gone to heaven except me. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so will the Son of Man be lifted up. I give eternal life to those who believe in me."
