The Xhubleta is Albanian, and only Albanian.
It is shameful that a garment recognized by UNESCO as the heritage of Albanian women of the northern highlands is being presented on international stages as something "Montenegrin."

Even though the contestant claims to be of Albanian origin, she has no right to present it as a Montenegrin costume.
This is a betrayal!

There is no other tradition that has created, preserved, or worn this garment for centuries,except the Albanian people.

The Xhubleta is a symbol of our identity, our history, our mothers and grandmothers.
Whoever wears it today must do so with respect for its Albanian origin, not by appropriating a culture that isn't theirs.
