@Ben66Miller@DannyMarang@JackedRamsays Then I guess he should plan on walking as a UFA, which means we should trade him before the final year of his deal…?
@DannyMarang@JackedRamsays The media keeps crying for Portland to get a star (and they certainly need a good closer for late-game situations), but Chauncey seems to want balance more than star power
@DannyMarang@JackedRamsays Would you agree that Chauncey wants to create a modern version of his ‘04 Pistons, based on defense, hustle, a good transition game, and good balance and ball/player movement on offense?
@DannyMarang@JackedRamsays Looking at the guard rotation in ‘26-‘27 (Dame, Jrue, Shaedon, Scoot), someone is going to need to get moved next summer, right? That guard rotation would just be untenable.
@DannyMarang@JackedRamsays Question about Deni’s contract based on what Richmond said when he was first acquired - will Deni’s descending salary on his current contract affect Portlands ability to offer him a competitive salary on his next contract?
@DannyMarang@JackedRamsays On a scale of one to ten, how concerning is Yang’s lack of lateral quickness on defense at this point? Might Chauncey have to play zone to keep him from being attacked early on?
@DannyMarang Their title window is a lot shorter than people realize, based on how those big contracts will wreck their books. Of course, SGA, Chet, and JW are young enough that they can retool and stay competitive, but it isn’t going to be a dynasty at this point.
