@TheGoat_P30@TopTierPucks@FriedgeHNIC I’d imagine unless they can get a 1-for-1 equivalent, they’re going to just eat somebody’s bad contract and raid their draft picks.
My entire point is that none of that really matters. Guys can meet the craziest criteria and be repulsive to women. Guys can fall well short of those standards and be incredibly successful with women.
Unless you’re exclusively into dating the heir of some billion dollar textile supplier who will get her hands chopped off for bringing a non-Ivy Leaguer with no political aspirations home, preferences are just mimetic and do not matter in the real world. I promise.
@JonathanDe7657@ChrisWillx Men still need to hear it.
They don’t assume contrary anecdotes even exist. They just complain like pussies that dating is impossible, further nuking their attractiveness to women.
This is often what I find.
When I lived in NY, I knew a girl who used to model for a popular agency who dated a multi-millionaire. A very nice guy. But he was deeply insecure and borderline stalked her and she dumped him. She started by bragging about his wealth and like a month later she wanted out. She married a rather normal firefighter making who knows how much less money and is still deeply in love with him.
If a survey asked her before dating the millionaire, would she find lesser incomes disqualifying, I’m honestly not sure what she’d say. But I know who she fell in love with.
Guys get the wrong impression from data. They don’t realize that women don’t mean they won’t date you - I know a lot of honestly desperate women who just want a boyfriend. They just envision rich dudes they think they’ll be attracted to, not a lonely, pale Managing Director with bologna tits who smells like body odor. Wealth doesn’t always equate to social status or confidence. They will choose a random charismatic dude who takes care of himself.
@DisenfranMillen@ChrisWillx Few actually date their “preference.” They just mimic preferences they think are acceptable socially while dating whoever is in front of them that’s not a drastic drop in social status.
Don’t take surveys too seriously.
@BravoKiloActual He’s bringing the “not sure if anybody else can see him or he’s a figment of my imagination” energy.
Very rare find for an on the street interview.
