this whole "i'm bad at anatomy but i can make up for it and deceive people's eyes with cool colors" is fine if you're drawing for fun, but if you want to go pro? boy... trust me, this mindset won't sustain you long-term

i see there's always a lot of drama in the art community when it comes to tracing, and here's how i see it:

tracing over free-to-use 3d models is fine, a lot of professional artists do that +

thinking about this because an artist i really admire was caught tracing and i'm honestly so dissapointed ;;

i think she had confidence in her coloring/rendering skills, but not in her anatomical skills, which led her to trace, i hope she learns from her mistakes and do better
