A whistblower who works as a border control officer at Manchester Airport has come forward.

He says there is a private terminal being used to fly in migrants.

"We patrol to check nothing is untoward. There is an area we can see - but are formally prevented from entering or inspecting.

Regular flights arrive there - 3 or 4 times every week. Transponders are switched off, yet they are given clearance to land using a special call sign.

Passengers are not screened by us - they are processed directly by Home Office personnel. They board unmarked buses. Each flight carries 200 - 300 people.

These flights arrive from the Middle East and sub‑Saharan Africa. They land between 2:00 am and 4:00 am. Government gives clearance. Unmarked buses collect passengers and leave through a hidden exit gate onto restricted roads - then merge onto motorways and vanish".

📢 A jazz lecturer was ‘forced out’ after questioning critical race theory.

Martin Speake is an internationally renowned saxophonist whose life was destroyed after students at Trinity Laban (TL) Conservatoire of Music and Dance in Greenwich — where he had worked for 24 years — boycotted his lessons because of his views.

Speake was cancelled after he claimed there was no “systemic” racial inequality in British jazz and that critical race theory was “very dangerous”. His comments were made in response to an email requesting feedback on a “diversity action plan” in February 2024. He received no response.

Mr Speake later showed his response to a student, who then shared it with others. It was subsequently reported back to him that one student felt “anxious”. Discontent brewed among students, TL halted his teaching and pressured him into circulating the email to the entire jazz department.

As his employer, the conservatoire failed to uphold his right to academic freedom and freedom of speech. They threatened disciplinary action and allowed harmful rumours to circulate about him. Students began to boycott his classes, a petition calling for his immediate removal was launched, the London Jazz Orchestra asked him to leave his post, his album was halted, and all his scheduled performances across the UK were cancelled.

The school issued a statement on social media saying they were “in awe” of the students’ “sense of community and solidarity with each other”. Speake was forced to take sick leave due to stress in March 2024. When he returned to TL in September students continued to boycott his lessons. Rather than support Martin’s right to his protected belief under the Equality Act, the institution enabled him to be silenced and offered him an administrative role researching a possible new master’s course – which he rejected.

The Free Speech Union is supporting Martin in taking the conservatoire to an employment tribunal for constructive dismissal, discrimination, and harassment. Martin has called the experience a nightmare that has “destroyed” his life.

Moronic Rayner’s reletting ban on rental properties will leave 100,000 landlords unable to sell or rent.

The Renters’ Rights Act took effect on May 1 and means that landlords cannot relet a property for sale for 12 months.

A property with no rental income means no income tax being paid by the landlord on that absent rental income.

Also, why must the government involve itself in the decision of a homeowner on whether to rent or sell?
