Do you or your partner have Type 2 Diabetes? You might qualify to participate in our research study by completing a one-hour interview over Zoom!
You both must be living in the United States, above 19 years of age, able to complete the interview and a
brief survey in English.
Questions will ask about your experiences of diabetes management during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
You will receive a $20* compensation for participating in this study.

Partners & other family members are often included in psychosocial interventions for adults diagnosed with chronic diseases, but rarely in primary prevention programs. Incorporating close others may maximize outcomes & extend programs' reach to more individuals at risk.

Compared with those who signed up for the Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) individually, adults who signed up with someone they lived with were more likely to begin & complete the DPP, and attended more days.
Did a few projects in grad school on basic needs insecurity (to learn more make sure to follow @saragoldrickrab & @hope4college). I like that @NAU has a list of resources available (https://t.co/vjGKfREbe2) - step 1 in addressing these issues! More needs to be done!
