Ike, this is why we aren’t making a bowl game. Backup QB hung 38 on us and you smiling on twitter? Practice will not be fun if you do shit like this! #leadbyexample

[Xander Petras @utahstatecfb]

@702Insider @mtnwestdyn Time will tell, but I like the direction we are heading!

[Xander Petras @utahstatecfb]

Finally ended the losing streak with a 35-13 win over SDSU on senior night in Logan! Wasn’t the season we wanted, but applaud these seniors for their leadership and effort. #AggieUp

[Xander Petras @utahstatecfb]

Great bounce back in Philly against a tough Temple team. Spens slung the rock around and solidified himself as the starter after a QB battle this week at practice. Bye week ahead. Time to get to work before conference play. #AggieUp

[Xander Petras @utahstatecfb]

On to next week.

A note from the commissioner: Out of respect for @utahstatecfb, we will not disclose the Battle of the Brothers final score this year. Any reports claiming an official score are attempts to discredit Xander.

I know Chris. He isn’t goofy. He’s a DOG. #AggieUp

[Chris @ThatEQGuyChris]

I am telling you right now, there’s something GREAT going on here in Logan, Utah and I would be REAL goofy to leave. LOVE my football family, sports family, student athletes and coworkers all around.

This 2024-2025 year is going to be a great year, mark my words.

[Pete Thamel @PeteThamel]

Sources: Utah State is promoting Kyle Cefalo to the program's offensive coordinator and play caller role. He'll still coach wide receivers for Utah State in 2024, as he'd been the CO-OC and wide receivers coach prior. He's tutored all-conference WR Jalen Royals.

[Xander Petras @utahstatecfb]

Want to publicly congratulate Hayden on the promotion. Well deserved. He’s made Big Spens into a #menace

[Pete Thamel @PeteThamel]

Per sources, Utah State analyst Hayden Kingston will be promoted to quarterbacks coach. Other staff promotions include Bobby McMillen to CO-DC and ILB coach and OL coach Cooper Bassett to CO-OC. Rachel Phillips has been named the program's chief of staff.

Our boys left it all on the field tonight. Tough battle under the lights at the Coliseum. I take full responsibility for this loss and poor coaching in the final seconds. Looking forward to the first Battle of the Brothers in Logan since 2012! #GoAggies #bigbrother

There it is. So happy for this guy.

It’s impossible for me to be impartial on this one. Such a good dude. Well deserved.
