I genuinely don’t understand following someone if you never interact with any part of their content.

No streams, no clips, no YouTube videos, no shorts, no TikToks. At that point I personally struggle to understand what’s actually being supported because a follow by itself doesn’t really mean much. A follow with no interest in anything you do is equivalent to a bot follow.

You don’t have to watch every stream or consume everything someone makes, but support usually means engaging with something once in a while because you enjoy the content.

And something I notice a lot in certain spaces is people only interacting with engagement posts or surface level posts while never actually watching or checking out any content. Then sometimes those same people jump straight into flirty messages or act overly familiar despite not knowing anything about the person or what they even make as far as streaming content and whatever else.

At the end of the day I’d rather have people who genuinely enjoy my content vs bigger numbers with no actual interest behind them.

But that’s just me.

Do you guys have any bad collab experiences?

My worst one was a couple years ago with a VTuber. We were supposed to play Valorant together, but something came up on their end. They canceled less than an hour before we were scheduled to go live. I get that emergencies happen, so I reached out to reschedule… and got completely ghosted. A short while later, they even unfollowed me.

We had similar-sized audiences, so it wasn’t like I was a nobody to them. I was just left hanging with nothing. I hope they were okay, but it definitely left a sour taste in my mouth.

It made the collab really stressful and I think I ended up opt'ing out of talking for rest of it 😅 its been a lot of collabs of me being invited to a group thing where I only know one person and get treated like I'm not there, very careful with collabs ^^

Being a openly transmasc vtuber is really lonely. I don't feel welcome in any space as a vtuber because of who I am and it's left me debating taking it back and just presenting as fem so I don't feel so left out of this space ;-;

Hot Take. Price filters aren't a "race to the bottom". If someone's budget doesn't meet your rates THAT'S OK. You don't need to drop them to compete.

If someone's budget is $30 seeing art that is $250 isn't going to magically make them want to save for that piece. They'll just keep looking for someone in their range either on-site or off-site (i.e Draw Market, Pipipen, etc.).

All it does is take away their choice and try to force them into higher price points that may not be economically feasible for them. Just because someone doesn't have a lot of money, or their currency is weaker doesn't mean they should have to jump through hoops.

It makes it 1000% more painful and time consuming on customers who are trying to find artists in their range. Open listing, see price not in budget, close listing, keep going. It's a P.I.T.A.

Pair that with the astronomically abhorrent lazy loading, scroll forever until it crashes, search and you've got customers pulling their hair out in frustration. I can't express vehemently enough how much I LOATHE this system. Just give me the options for Pagination ("Previous," "1, 2, 3," "Next") for the love of god! 😬😬

I'd actually argue that price filters will put artists in view of the right clients for their services. And let's not forget that these wouldn't be "default" filters so w/e their algorithm sorts by now would still be applicable on initial load.

Additionally if something like this was implemented, and it should be since it's the standard on every other site without issue, then stronger enforcement on artists who click bait pricing needs to occur. And not just the ones using $1 - $5 bait either. I'm talking the ones using full body images and listing "bust" level prices with their "range" of prices in the description vs. make separate appropriate listings. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
