Those who heeded the prophets-
“…and they were taught that he would appear unto them after his resurrection; and this the people did hear with great joy and gladness.
Alma 16:20
Unbelievers, lean to their own understanding-
“why will he not show himself in this land as well as in the land of Jerusalem?”
Helaman 16:19
I love the Book of Mormon!!! I cannot say the smallest part that I feel. The word of God speaks peace to my soul .
Tonight my family and I watched Swiss Family Robinson. Absolute classic.
One scene in particular struck me.
Right after the Robinsons land on shore from their shipwreck, the mother suggests the family kneel in prayer before building a shelter.
Bring faith back into film.
All who live or ever have lived who come unto Christ and live His gospel will feel joy beyond any earthly expression as we reunite, resurrected, with our Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ and with our parents, grandparents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, and ancestors.
Elder Bednar has been teaching about proper technology use for decades.
Prior to his recent teachings about AI, Elder Bednar warned us of the "sense-dulling and spiritually destructive influence of cyberspace technologies."
His teachings from 2009 are just as valid today:
In 1995, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints introduced "The Family: A Proclamation to the World."
This document isn't intended for Latter-day Saints. It is intended for the world.
If you wish to strengthen families and uphold God's laws, please listen:
I hadn't planned on posting anything on abortion today. So many others have stated why it is wrong and shared experiences of joy in bringing life into the world. However as I was studying my scriptures tonight I came across this talk by then Elder Russell M Nelson titled 'Reverence for Life' given in April 1985.
I am grateful so many of all faiths are sickened about this terrible practice. At the same time I am saddened to read the statistics on how many souls are lost to this every day.
President Nelson clearly outlines why we are opposed to abortion as members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I linked the talk below for anyone who is interested. The clip is his testimony on life.

Is artificial intelligence helping you grow, or quietly replacing your growth?
I invite you to join me at https://t.co/B5xFoUsTw6 on June 7 as we discuss how to hear God's voice in an age of artificial intelligence.
“Seek to be good, not just to feel good.”

This was the founders definition of the ‘pursuit of happiness’ that we have as an inalienable right as Americans.
Did you know this factoid: Latter-day Saints are 2% of America. But they keep finishing FIRST in a LOT of stats:
- 69% at church every week (everyone else: 25%)
- 73% pray daily
- 72% volunteered last year — the only U.S. faith above 50%
- 89% pay a full 10% tithe
The same group a UCLA study found lives nearly a decade longer.
Smallest faith on the chart. First, on almost everything, you can't fake.
What do they know that the rest of us don't? :)
Freedom of religion is in jeopardy “everywhere to some degree.”
The inalienable rights protected by the U.S. Constitution allowed Jesus Christ’s Church to be restored to the earth.
We must maintain and protect religious freedom globally.
“Societies are not held together primarily by law and its enforcement, but by those who voluntarily obey the unenforceable because of their sense of accountability to God.” - Dallin H. Oaks
Families are forever. It is a universal desire that resonates deeply with the human heart. Family is also a feeling of home and community.
I believe the temple of the Lord provides all three of these fundamental human desires: Family, Home, Community.
A family, because hearts turn to one another. Fathers and mothers turn to their children, and children turn to their parents. Generations are sealed together and bound by sacred promises. Links that may seem broken are strengthened, healed, and made whole.
A home, because it is a place of peace and refuge from the storms of life. It is a place of learning, where we come to know Jesus Christ more fully and make sacred covenants with Him.
A community, because we worship alongside fellow Saints who have made similar covenants and are striving to keep them. Though each of us faces challenges outside the temple, within its walls there is a spirit of unity, belonging, and oneness.
Regardless of our personal situation. Single, married or divorced.
The temple truly is the house of the Lord, inviting all to come unto Christ, and partake of the blessings He offers of being one with an eternal Family, a peaceful Home, and a welcoming Community.
Latter-day Saints believe the U.S. Constitution was inspired of God.
The president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Dallin H. Oaks (@OaksDallinH), gave a landmark speech on defending the Constitution.
Every American would benefit from listening to his words.
My best friend, who happens to not be part of our faith, just ordered this so we can read together over the summer. Your prayers on her behalf are most welcome!
An invitation:
If it’s been weeks, months, or even years since you’ve been to church, say a quiet prayer today and go tomorrow.
Slip in after the meeting begins. Sit in the back. Sit in the foyer if that’s more comfortable. After the sacrament, quietly leave. Few people will even notice you. Loving Heavenly Parents will notice.
Jesus taught that the laborers who came at the eleventh hour received the same wage as those who came early. It’s never too late to come back to church.
Maybe you’ll feel renewed. Maybe you’ll feel nothing. Maybe you’ll remember something you haven’t felt in a long time.
You don’t have to commit to next week. Just come tomorrow and see what happens.
