One thing I’ve noticed about the new stadium concept is the lack of historical background.
Munich tunnel, clock, trinity etc. All ignored in the promo.
Instead focused on advertising entertainment zones and new cash opportunities for the club to rinse more money from fans.
Nobody should ever attend a football match and not come home.
Our thoughts are with @LFC as we remember the 97 supporters who lost their lives as a result of the Hillsborough tragedy.
@Muppetiers Can you try and explain this please mate? It says that Old Trafford is being revamped and a new stadium is also being built? What’s the point in doing both?
🗣 Chief Executive of Trafford Council, Sara Todd: "We are very pleased that Manchester United have confirmed their commitment to remaining at Old Trafford, their historic home, and welcome the prospect of renewed investment in the development of a world-class stadium.
As plans for the stadium and the neighbouring Trafford Wharfside area progress, we have a unique opportunity to truly transform the historic industrial ‘engine room’ of Greater Manchester into a modern hub for growth and a new community, and we want to build on the socio-economic benefits this will bring, particularly for local residents. We are committed to working with the club, local residents and other key partners to develop these exciting and ambitious proposals." #mufc
it’s 4yrs today since that McTominay goal v City
it would be the last time I’d celebrate a United goal with my Dad like we’d done on so many occasions over 46yrs
What I now realise is win, lose or draw, it’s who you share those moments with that really matters….miss you Dad❤️
We filled an 8k allocation at Wigan on a Monday night, surely this is the same as we’re all supposedly from London?
We’d fill any allocation, anywhere in the country on any day of the week with thousands of tickets left over
You’re still little mate, success doesn’t change that
