It’s a wrap - I have passed on the baton!❤️
A year after winning the Stelios Award for Disabled Entrepreneurs, it was a real privilege to return and present at this year’s awards ceremony at the @SteliosPhilFdn HQ
My journey continues, building, challenging perceptions and lifting others as I climb.
Congratulations to all of this year’s winners

There are moments in your career that make you stop in your tracks.
Attending the Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace was one of them.
After more than 30 years in social care, today was a reminder that no recognition is achieved alone. I found myself thinking about the teams, colleagues, residents, families and supporters who have been part of that journey over many years.
And something else that matters deeply to me, disability does not prevent professional achievement, leadership, or building something meaningful. It may shape the journey, but it does not define the outcome.
A day I’ll always remember.

I genuinely never expected this. 30yrs in health & social care was never about recognition. It has always been about service, doing good work properly & finding a way to sustain it. Quietly showing that disabled leadership brings strength, insight and value to business.
Mother’s Day. Carefully worded tributes to love, sacrifice and gratitude. But real motherhood has never been so tidy. I've captured what it means to me 👇 https://t.co/lbgOnSjmaT In the meantime; wishing all mothers and mother figures a happy Mother’s Day.
I’ve written a thought-leadership piece for the February issue of Caring Times magazine, exploring what leadership looks like when it starts with culture. You can read it here online 👉 https://t.co/7nM3nKECwa

Delighted to be featured in the Feb/March issue of @Carehomemanage discussing why resilience must become a strategic priority for care home managers not “nice to have”across social care
I’d love to hear what resonates and what resilience looks like in your setting.

I’m pleased to share that I’ve contributed to Christian News with a special New Year feature. In this piece, I reflect on why hope isn’t always tied to the calendar, and why compassion, understanding and inclusive leadership matter just as much in January as they do at any other point in the year.
Message me if you'd like the PDF newspaper.

To everyone in health and social care, and those working through the holidays: you are the quiet superheroes of our sector. Your dedication and sacrifices are deeply valued. Wishing you all a restorative Christmas and a hopeful start to the New Year.

Christmas is my favourite time of year, so the @ChampioningCare 📷📷 lunch at the beautiful Dorchester was a lovely way to celebrate the festive season and the sector’s successes in 2025. 🙏to the organisers for your tireless efforts in creating such a memorable event. A great way to bring the year to a close
I’m overjoyed to share some incredible news. I’ve been named a Silver Stevie® Winner for Best Female Entrepreneur - Business Services) at the worldwide @TheStevieAwards for Women in Business 2025!
The awards celebrate women entrepreneurs from across the world, and to represent the UK’s social care sector is an experience I’ll never forget.
This isn’t just an award; it’s a reflection of our shared values. Leadership that listens, teams that care deeply, and communities that inspire us every day.
Thank you to my brilliant Hoama Group team and to everyone who continues to believe in the power of empathy and integrity in business.

Feeling very humbled this week. Silver winner for Best Female Entrepreneur in Business Services at the Stevie Awards in NYC.
Social care doesn’t often get this kind of spotlight, so it means a lot. Grateful for everyone who’s been part of the journey.

Honoured to attend the inaugural UK Deaf Business Expo hosted by @ShezadNawabMBE.
Powerful conversations on access to banking, inclusion & the impact of mentoring. Inspiring to hear from David Hall @LloydsBank on their work with @LilacReview.
As a mentor with @DigitalBoost_UK, supported by @SmallBizBritain & @LloydsBank , it was brilliant to see the focus on accessible growth & inclusion. 💙👏

Being different isn’t something to carry quietly.
It might just be the very thing that makes you strong and the reason others listen. That, to me, is what makes someone truly influential.
