In this market 50m will get you a solid squad player. United are spending that on starters. Do we really think our starting team is that good?? Spend the money and get the right player rather one or two that’ll just do the job in my opinion

Arsenal getting Bruno G to partner Rice is scary. City - Anderson and Bouaddi. Chelsea - Caicedo and Enzo. Spurs Tonali. All 100m+ midfielders… as a United fan it’s frustrating we’re not willing to compete and get the best players.

If we get a left back (and we really should get a starting lb), loan Amass to a good championship or even weak premier league team. If we don’t then keep him. He’s good but he needs minutes and experience in a solid back line

With Martinez injured again and De ligt still not back for the start of the season and also given his injury record, I really think we might have to start looking for a starting cb. Yoro and Heaven are long term options but we need a better short term. Diomande or Bisseck?

Still struggling to get my head around the Santos signing. Chelsea fans seem to be upset to lose him and he looks promising but in a market full of very talented and potentially more complete midfielders, is he the one we should’ve gone for??

Looking like we’re going to spend about £150m on midfielders - less than expected. Surely this means we can go big on an attacker (Barcola or Diomande) or maybe even 2 Defenders (Hall + Cb/Rb) instead. Doubt Utd will do this but they’ve surprised us so far this window.

For me if it’s between Camavinga or Kone, I’d go Camavinga. Had more to his game, left footed which I think adds more dimensions and angles to our play plus he’s for sure got the higher ceiling. Kone did get picked over him in the national squad though 🤷🏻♂️

Seems Santos is a similar profile to Tielemans just with better defensive stats but he by no means is a 6 that I feel pairs well with either Tielemans or Kobbie in a pivot
Anyone else slightly confused by the Tielemans and Santos signings?
With Kobbie, that’s now three No. 8s which I’m not convinced on any combination of those players. When we get a No. 6 it should balance it out but what if that one 6 we have gets injured??

@JacobB34215@utdforever7@ManUtd@premierleague@LukeShaw23 You watch, his return will keep getting delayed. Don’t know whether to be annoyed or sorry for him. Great player and would be incredible to have him play 30+ games for us but it’s looking more and more like he’s not even going to manage 10 a season. Big shame but that’s football

Happy 22nd birthday to Jadon Sancho.
◉ 156 league & UCL appearances
◉ 47 goals

Only Thomas Müller (64) and Lionel Messi (53) have provided more league assists than the Englishman (44) since 2018/19. 🥳
@Sawer_Ron@Edwin84472973@Sman40439119@UnitedStandMUFC@NewsUnitedStand No, it allows the second midfielder to create more chances and they would be more attacking and not have to worry about the defensive side of their position as much also a good dm would help quickly transition the play and get it to attacking players faster than Fred nd mctominay
Official. Confirmed. Here-we-go.
