@mancunianmedic This is exactly how it is in juries, people feel pressured and don’t want to be the last one holding out. Needs to be some ‘training’ on concentrating on the facts/biases & leaving the emotion out of the jury room. Good that its created awareness of majority verdicts etc as well

@hayleycoless Goes to show, that breaking down, crying…etc on the stand, is the best way to get to the ‘emotional side’ of the jury and stay there… form that bond with them and they won’t convict you 😳😖🤦‍♀️

@Eurostar SAFETY ISSUE: Egress in St Pancras down 1 escalator hundreds of people crowding, at the bottom a belt barrier too close to guide people to the right. Instead they nearly stop at the bottom which is v dangerous with a crowd of people coming down. #9043 arr 17:30 4/02/24

@Moneybox have been repeatedly to Barclays and other banks with my Mum to try and open joint account, with dual authorisation . this is not possible! it is on business accounts This would provide the level of protection that we require! why do banks not want to do this ???

It's
6yrs since we started seeing mass proliferation of scam ads
5yrs since I sued Facebook.
4yrs since they settled (for £3m to charity).
4yrs since the online harms white paper (still not law)
18mth since they agreed to inc scams in it.
1 day since first deep fake scam ad I've seen

Yet we've still
NO proper laws
NO proper regulation
NO proper fines for big tech who get paid to publish these criminal ads
NO mention of when things will improve
NO sign of the promised online advertising programme to help

It isn't good enough. Vulnerable people are being scammed, lifes are being ruined, and people are totally unprotected.

The NHS isn’t failing because of greedy staff, or lazy staff or patients with high expectations for their healthcare. It’s failing because politicians have taken active decisions to underfund it, understaff it, treat the workforce terribly+are now privatising it in various ways🚨
