@UToledo#college#fencing#collegelife#sports Come see UT fencing today at the night at the Rec event starting at 9 and going till midnight. You don't have to stay the full time, but drop on by for fun.
This blade encourages fast-paced, adrenaline pumping interactions. Your primary targets for hits will be the head and the sword arm. Force your opponents to go on the defensive or bait them to overextend their attacks to score points efficiently!
@UToledo The Saber is a primarily offensive blade. Able to hit from the waist up, the saber allows for a wide variety of attacks. Unlike the other schools of fencing, the saber permits slashing attacks, and only requires that the blade make contact with the opponent to score.
@UToledo The รฉpรฉe blade is one of the three main schools of fencing. Epee is very defensive, with emphasis on small movements that leave a little opening in oneโs guard. Anywhere on the body is an acceptable target, although the shoulder of your opponentโs sword arm is preferred
