Almighty. Help us to protect our acts of worship. May we not be among those who pray, fast & give charity but curse, swear, gossip & backbite without batting an eyelid. Keep us mindful of such behaviour.

The Almighty will test your character. Are you paying lip service to your faith? He will also send challenges in many forms. Your wealth, your children, people you mix with etc. He will look at your heart. If you’re sincere, you’ll succeed.

When you believe, it doesn’t mean the road ahead is smooth all the way. Far from it. Expect the Almighty to test you if you’re true to your word. Remember, faith is not the belief that He will do what you want, it is the confidence in knowing that He will do what’s best for you.

Nobody will truly understand what you’re going through except the One who made you. He’s the only One who knows your true circumstances and is always available when you need Him. He will heal you and make you whole again.

Life goes on, with or without you. Be prepared for whatever comes your way. When you least expect it, it will test you & challenge you. How you respond will set the tone for the rest of your life. Don’t take things for granted. Be on guard always because Satan is waiting for you to fall.

Choose your words wisely. Once spoken, you can’t undo them. Many people are careless with their words. They curse, swear, hurl vulgarities, use harsh words which hurt others in the process. Don’t live to regret what you uttered.

Apologize. Admit your mistake & take full responsibility. It shows your human weakness. You’ll gain a lot more respect that way rather than trying to push the blame to someone else. It’s this self-awareness that allows us to grow and learn from our mistakes.

We are too quick to judge others. We label the quiet ones as snobbish. Has it occurred to us that they could be hiding a deep pain & prefer not to talk about it? Be gentle with people just like we’d like them to be gentle with us. Don’t assume anything.

When something doesn’t feel right, don’t do it, leave it, walk away from it. Trust your judgement, your intuition, your feeling. It’s the Almighty’s way of guiding you and steering you away from what’s not right. You don’t owe anyone any explanation. Just don't do it.

Almighty. Redirect our thoughts so that we focus on those things that are good and pure, honorable and righteous, excellent and worthy of praise. Banish thoughts that cloud our judgement, cause doubt and make us think ill of others. Aameen.

Whatever you want to do, do it now. Don’t wait for the perfect time, the perfect moment, the perfect day. It doesn’t exist, Perfection is not for this world. Before you end up miserable, act on it. Start today. Let the Almighty be your Guide.
