@aelfred_D The only easy coast place I’m familiar with people doing this is greater NYC. The boroughs (special case), Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester County, Orange County, Western Connecticut, Bergen County (NJ), etc.
The iOS update blue dots are such pointless clutter. They’re a hold over from when app updates were infrequent and featureful. Now apps just submit updates from automated pipelines and can’t bother to write releases notes. There’s nothing special inside, so why coax action?
Today Claude interpreted “jargonize” as fluff up with jargon rather than imbue a “normal” term with specific out of band context.
I guess I need to jargonize “jargonize”.
@tenobrus > the fact that some claude by nature had to speak first.
How’s turn taking working here? Is the Claude deciding to speak first or is it being forced to speak first? Does the distinction matter?
Common fundraising deck mistake: using boring slide titles like "Team" and "The Problem".
Instead, state the conclusion that you want investors to take away from the slide, and use the body as supporting evidence.
If an investor only read the titles on your slides, would they understand your business and want to invest?

@FangYi11101 Once the format was already popular, LeetCode was developed as a tool to practice interviews like this, and the whole process got Goodharted. The metric became something to practice and stopped correlating with good candidates.
@FangYi11101 Companies that wanted to signal rigor or prestige started copying the format, even if they were just iterating b2b SaaS toward PMF on top of Postgres. All while bigtech development increasingly became proto repacking and knob tuning.
@Aden_Yacobi It looks like they actually collect a lot more than just rent. 4 million rides with a $5.50 surcharge is $22 million (or $17 million if you factor in the San Mateo County Premium).
@woke8yearold Seems like food away from home has flipped food at home creating the first sustained upward movement on food as a percent of income since the 70s.
