Developing text adventures and engines since 1984. Z80 coder, 6502 also. ZX Spectrum in my heart, but also fond of C64, CPC and MSX. DOS was my favorite OS.
I have vibecoded a Spectrum emulator. My focus is on debugging, so it has a debugger with almost any nice option I've seen on emulators before, plus some that I missed. Also, it includes a very functional DAAD, PAW and The Quill debugger. Stay tunned!
@ainslec I know, I asked what could I do, and they kindly informed me about what can be done. The emulator lets you know what to do and makes installing quite easy, but does not include the distribution.
@ainslec Yes, well, this is basically a beta, and to be honest linux version has not been tested too much, but I compiled it because some asked, then failed because of dependencies, and I made the rpm/deb files. If this goes a long way I'll take care of proper packaging :-D

DAAD Ready will include the new CP/M target, and also a ZX81 target, in two flavours: basic ZX81 with 16K (no graphics, small room for game) and ZX81 with SD81Booster (basically a ZX80/81 expansion that upgrades to a ZX Spectrum).
Thanks a lot to @wilco_2009 for his help!!
I have yet to test it -I'm on holiday right now- but there's a new built-from-scractch Spectrum Next interpreter of DAAD. It has powerful features compared with the one already in DAAD Ready, so I'm posting a link here for those who want to give it a try

@8bit_era@hardistymark@timbucus This GUI is a work of Ben, who is in the DAAD Ready Telegram group, I've not taken part on it, but I've tested it and I think it's a great idea.
Probably best way to get in contact with him is that group https://t.co/NCUSDUHtMw
DAAD Ready will include a basic DAAD interpreter for CP/M 2.2 machines with a Z80 processor. That includes Osborne 1, TRS-80, Kaypro II, Epson QX-10, Xerox 820, and many others.
Picture: Aventuras AD's "La Aventura Original" running on Kaypro II and CPC6128
The interpreter is properly parsing player orders now in DAAD CP/M interpreter.
New bugs appear, like underscore not being replaced by object description.
Quite a good progress, anyway :-)
