@bg637@Braden_Keith@swimswamnews I think they should ask the opinion of 9-16th place women. Just because they got screwed doesn’t mean the men should be too. Thank you for your insights I learned a lot tonight!
@Braden_Keith@swimswamnews if the Big 12 leadership can recognize their error with the floor and correct their mistake halfway through the tournament, the CSCAA can do the same thing before the Men’s meet. Leadership takes courage to admit you were wrong. #bringbackBs
@bg637@Braden_Keith@swimswamnews Do you think those conversations will go differently if there’s thousands of emails / phone calls in the inboxes of the committee members? People are mad now and we need to capitalize. Everyone will forget and move on if we don’t contact the committee members directly.
@bg637@Braden_Keith@swimswamnews He’s the chair. He is accountable for organizing the emergency session and at least creating a conversation. Look- I know it’s a long shot. But long shots are worth taking. It’s easy to punt to next year. Think of the Seniors. Look at the data. The sessions weren’t shorter.
@bg637@Braden_Keith@swimswamnews And it’s the responsibility of @swimswamnews and rest of Swimming media to hold these committee members accountable. No more hiding behind faceless committees. Publish the names, emails, and phone numbers of the decision makers. Do the right thing with a sense of urgency.
@bg637@Braden_Keith@swimswamnews I’m not saying it’s easy. Doing the right thing takes courage. It’s worth trying! Broadcast Mike Spiegler’s email [email protected] and let him know how you feel! He serves us! It’s like calling your senator- one call doesn’t make a difference but thousands do!
@bg637@Braden_Keith@swimswamnews How did the Big 12 rationalize changing the basketball floors halfway through a tournament? They knew it was wrong and stood up did the right thing! Mike Spiegler needs to organize an Emergency Session at 8 am Monday and fix it instead of leaving a 💩 legacy
I finally have a bit of free time. I think I’ll open up Solidworks Maker and do a little CAD…
Crash on startup. 4 hours of uninstall/ reinstall, search on Reddit, download random .exe file on random support page. All I wanted was a simple extrude!
@emm0sh what a shitshow
@brandenflasch@Mattlinn01 Sorry! IBE= installed battery energy. Typically on the label and used for transport purposes. UBE= usable battery energy- what’s available to the customer. Typically the BMS will limit top and bottom voltages at start of life and expand range over life to compensate for SOH loss
@brandenflasch@Mattlinn01 More aggressive companies (Tesla) have a higher UBE percentage. So they’ll display ~98% of the actual battery at zero miles. More conservative companies concerned about warranty cost will be more like 95-97%.
@brandenflasch@Mattlinn01 You’re too smart to not know this. UBE= usable battery energy. Range @ 0miles is not the true capacity of the battery. You start above 100% SOH. There’s lots of mfg tolerance of both the battery and drag of drivetrain (3-4%). Some companies are more conservative than others.
@brandenflasch@Mattlinn01 Real Question- What's your ideal UBE / IBE ratio? i.e. how much beginning of life range are you willing to sacrifice to have higher SOH numbers?
