India’s democracy depends on an Election Commission that is trusted to act independently and impartially.
But serious questions have been raised over party splits, defections, election symbols and voter-list decisions. When institutions make decisions that can reshape the political battlefield, transparency and accountability are not optional—they are essential.
The question is not whether anyone should be above the law. The question is whether every institution entrusted with protecting democracy is truly independent and accountable.
If wrongdoing is established through evidence, those responsible must face the law.
The people of India deserve answers. 🇮🇳

Poona Pact — 24 September 1932
The British proposed separate electorates for people subjected to untouchability, later constitutionally recognized as Scheduled Castes.
Dr. B. R. Ambedkar supported separate electorates because he believed they would provide independent political representation.
M. K. Gandhi opposed separate electorates and began a fast in Yerwada Jail, Poona. After negotiations, the Poona Pact was signed on 24 September 1932.
What changed?
Separate electorates were replaced by reserved seats in joint electorates, with provincial reserved seats increasing from 71 to 148.
In the 1937 elections, Congress won 78 of 151 reserved seats, while non-Congress candidates won 73. Ambedkar later criticized the joint-electorate system because Congress-supported candidates could win seats reserved for these communities.
Why remember it?
The Pact changed the political system, but Ambedkar’s struggle for representation, equality and dignity did not end.

The AI debate is getting serious. Anthropic researcher Jacob Coxon resigned, warning that AI companies were racing toward self-improving AI.
Days later, CEO Dario Amodei called for stronger safety measures, backed by Sam Altman and Elon Musk.
Trump rejected a slowdown, arguing America must stay ahead of China.
Trump adviser David Sacks raised another concern: could tougher rules strengthen today’s AI giants while making it harder for smaller companies to compete?
My view: AI development should continue, but government has a vital role in ensuring safety, independent oversight and fair competition.
We should not slow innovation—or allow the biggest companies to control the future simply because they can afford the rules.

Honestly, people are going a little crazy over the #80sAIPhotoTrend. 😂Including me!
During the earlier #Ghibli craze, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said its GPUs were “melting” from the demand. That shows how quickly AI image trends can explode.
There’s no evidence this trend was deliberately created to make money — but AI companies can still benefit from the attention through new users, subscriptions and increased use of their platforms. Have fun with it.

BRICS 2026 is bigger than ever — but is it actually stronger? As 11 nations navigate war, trade tensions, the dollar and competing interests, the real test is whether BRICS can turn its size into meaningful collective action. https://t.co/cxyoyTS9uc
