Extremely pained to hear about the terrible jeep tragedy which took the precious lives of many plantation workers, among others, at Mananthavady in Wayanad district of Kerala.

In this hour of grief, our deepest condolences to the families of the victims. Our thoughts and empathy are with the injured and we wish them a speedy recovery.

लद्दाख के कोने-कोने में गया और युवाओं से, माताओं-बहनों से, ग़रीब लोगों से बात की।

दूसरे नेता हैं जो सिर्फ़ अपने मन की बात करते हैं, मैं आपके मन की बात सुनना चाहता हूं।

चीन ने हिंदुस्तान की हज़ारों कि.मी. ज़मीन छीन ली है। प्रधानमंत्री इस बात को नकार कर झूठ बोल रहे हैं, ये लद्दाख का हर व्यक्ति जानता है।

��द्दाख के मुख्य मुद्दे हैं - यहां के लोगों की राजनीतिक आवाज़ दबाई जा रही है, रोज़गार के लिए सरकार के सभी वादे झूठे निकले और, मोबाइल नेटवर्क और हवाई सुविधा की कमी।

अगली सदन में, इन सभी मुद्दों को संसद में उठाऊंगा!

मोदी सरकार RTI Act को तड़पा-तड़पा कर मार रही है ।

ये केवल संवैधानिक अधिकार पर हमला नहीं है, बल्कि लोकतंत्र को ख़त्म करने की साज़िश में एक और क़दम है।

RTI Website से हज़ारों की तादाद में applications ग़ायब होना तो केवल सतही वाक़या है, अंदरूनी नाश तो और गहरा है।

Data Protection क़ानून की आड़ में RTI Act का प्रस्��ावित संशोधन करना सूचना के अधिकार पर एक तानाशाह सरकार का कायराना प्रहार है।

पारदर्शिता से नहीं सरोकार,
ऐसी निर्लज्ज है मोदी सरकार !

#Chandrayaan3 की सफलता प्रत्येक भारतीय की सामूहिक सफलता है। हम सब के लिए गर्व की बात है।

140 करोड़ भारतीयों ने अपने छह दशक पुराने अंतरिक्ष कार्यक्रम में आज एक और उपलब्धि देखी।

हम अपने वैज्ञानिकों, space engineers, researchers और इस मिशन को सफल बनाने में शामिल सभी लोगों की लगन, कड़ी मेहनत, और समर्पण को सलाम करते हैं।

2008 में, जब Chandrayaan-1, Moon Impact Probe (MIP), भारतीय राष्ट्रीय ध्वज लेकर, चंद्रमा पर उतरा, तो भ��रत चंद्रमा की सतह पर ‘किसी वैज्ञानिक उपकरण' को उतारने वाला चौथा देश बन गया था।

आज Chandrayaan -3 के माध्यम से हमने दुनिया के सामने अपनी शानदार वैज्ञानिक क्षमता का परिचय दिया है।

#VikramLander और Pragyaan Rover की बेहतरीन soft landing, Dr Homi Bhabha, Dr Vikram Sarabhai, Dr Satish Dhawan, Dr Meghnad Saha, Dr Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar, Dr A P J Abdul Kalam और उन सभी महान वैज्ञानिकों को एक सच्ची श्रद्धांजलि है जिन्होंने भारत को अंतरिक्ष अनुसंधान और वैज्ञानिक निपुणता में अपार सफलता दिलाई।

ये उपलब्धियाँ पंडित जवाहर लाल नेहरू के vision का प्रम���ण हैं जिन्होंने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि scientific temper ही एक स्वतंत्र राष्ट्र के विकास की भावना को आगे बढ़ा सकता है।

उनके लिए, विज्ञान लोगों के जीवन में तेजी से बदलाव लाने का प्रमुख साधन था। भारत के अन��य प्रधानमंत्रियों ने भी इस भावना को आगे बढ़ाया।

आर्यभट्ट मिशन हो या राकेश शर्मा की space यात्रा या फिर उसके बाद के अन्य Mission हों, भारत ने space research और exploration में एक लंबा और सफल सफर तय किया है।

कांग्रेस पार्टी ने हमेशा विश्व शांति और भाईचारे को आगे बढ़ाने में विश्वास किया है।

आज Vikram Lander का चंद्रमा की सतह पर उतरना, शांतिपूर्ण और Welfare उद्देश्यों के लिए विज्ञान का उपयोग करने की हमारी प्रतिबद्धता की पुष्टि ह��।

भविष्य में अंतरिक्ष अनुसंधान की आवश्यकता को देखते हुए ही पंडित नेहरू ने ISRO की नींव रखी थी।

The success of #Chandrayaan3 is the collective success of every Indian.

An elated nation with 140 crore aspirations witnessed today yet another achievement in its six-decade long space programme.

We are deeply indebted to the remarkable hard work, unparalleled ingenuity and unflinching dedication of our scientists, space engineers, researchers and everyone involved in making this mission a triumph for India.

In 2008, when the Moon Impact Probe (MIP), the Chandrayaan-1 Mission, carrying the Indian National Flag landed on the moon, we became the 4th country to land a scientific device on the moon's surface.

Today, through the Chandrayaan-3, we have displayed our scientific prowess to the world. The immaculate soft-landing of Vikram lander and Pragyaan rover is a fitting tribute to Dr Homi J Bhabha, Dr Vikram Sarabhai, Dr Satish Dhawan, Dr Meghnad Saha, Dr Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar, Dr A P J Abdul Kalam and many other legendary scientists who paved the way for India’s unmatchable progress in the field of space research and scientific dexterity.

The historic Chandrayaan-1 in 2008 confirmed the presence of water molecules on the lunar surface.

Chandrayaan -2 detected the presence of chromium, manganese, and sodium for the first time.

Mangalyaan – Our Mars Orbiter Mission made India the first country to successfully achieve an interplanetary mission, in its maiden attempt.

These accomplishments are a testament to the vision of Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru who emphasized and sincerely believed that a critical commitment to science could drive the spirit of development of our newly independent nation by igniting the spirit and minds of the people. This was later followed by successive Prime Ministers.

The Congress party has always believed in advancement of world peace and fellowship, and the descent of #VikramLander on the surface of the moon, is a solemn affirmation of our commitment to use science for peaceful and welfare purposes.

From Aryabhata Mission, to Wing Commander Rakesh Sharma’s space odyssey – where he said “Sare Jahan Se Achcha Hindostan Hamara” to Chandrayaan Missions, India has come a long way in space research and exploration.
