This wasn’t just about a feeling anymore.
Something about that night was not normal.
And whatever happened… wasn’t finished yet..
Because the next thing I saw… proved I wasn’t the only one being watched🙆🥹
THE NIGHT I REALIZED SOMETHING CHANGED IN ME (Part 2)
I told myself I was overthinking it.
That’s what I kept repeating the next morning.
It was just a conversation. Just a normal night. Nothing important. People talk. People feel things. Then life moves on.
At least…
until I saw something else.
A new message appeared.
But this time, it wasn’t from them.
It was from an unknown number.
No name.
No profile.
Just a single sentence:
“You’re starting to remember what you shouldn’t.”
And that’s when I realized…
Like parts of the night had been edited out.
Or like I was only remembering what I was supposed to remember.
And then came the part that really unsettled me.
I checked the message again.
And it was gone.
Deleted.
Like it was never sent.
I looked at my screen, confused…
I stared at it for a long time.
Because the problem wasn’t the message.
It was what I couldn’t remember clearly anymore.
My mind started replaying the night in fragments… but the more I tried to piece it together, the more it felt like something was missing.
I wasn’t sure anymore what actually happened at all.
Later that day, I checked my phone.
And I saw a message.
From them.
Sent at a time I didn’t remember us even talking.
Just one line:
“So… are we going to pretend last night didn’t change anything?”
They mentioned something from the night before… something I don’t remember clearly hearing in the same way they described it.
At first, I laughed it off.
But inside, I felt that uncomfortable drop in my chest.
Because I was sure that moment didn’t happen like that.
Or worse…
Like we were both avoiding something without saying it out loud.
And that’s when it hit me.
Maybe I wasn’t the only one who felt it.
I tried to shake it off. I really did.
But then something strange happened.
Mid-conversation, they said something that didn’t make sense at first.
Same calm energy.
But I noticed things I didn’t notice before.
Small things.
The way they paused a little longer before responding to me. The way they looked at me like they were trying to figure out what I was thinking. The way the conversation felt… slightly careful.
that’s what I wanted to believe.
But the problem started when I saw them again.
Because the moment our eyes met, I knew something was off.
Not from them.
From me.
They acted completely normal — like nothing had happened. Same tone. Same smile.
The Night I Realized Something Changed in Me” (Part 1)
I didn’t think that night would matter.
If I had known, maybe I would have paid more attention to every small detail… every pause… every look… every silence that lasted just a little too long
Even when I got home.
I kept thinking about it.
About the silence.
About the feeling I couldn’t explain.
And about one question I still can’t answer:
What exactly changed that night… and why didn’t I notice it happening?
Because I looked at them… and I realized I wasn’t seeing them the same way I used to.
Not because they changed.
But because something in me did.
And that thought stayed with me longer than I expected.
Long after the conversation ended.
Long after the night went quiet.
I really did.
But the more time passed, the more I felt like I was stepping into something I didn’t plan for.
Something I didn’t fully understand.
At one point, I caught myself wondering:
“Why does this feel different tonight?”
And that’s when the weird part started.
