This is a dangerous anti-privacy bill (identity verification) that the House of Representatives might try to pass by voice vote this afternoon before many of us are even in town. Senators Mike Lee, Rand Paul, and Ron Wyden voted against a similar bill in the Senate two years ago.
@Ashley62312 Proposing or advancing a bill that's unconstitutional on its face without proposing a constitutional amendment to tell everyone what it is you *actually* want to accomplish should be grounds for expulsion on its face.
Reminder that the House will be putting KOSA on the table TOMORROW at 6:30PM. If it passes, online privacy and free speech are dead.
Call your reps or the Capitol Switchboard at 202-224-3121. Flood the House with calls and emails today and tomorrow. This bill must be stopped.

The US Government will pass Digital ID and the majority of people won’t notice until their phone locks them out until they provide photo ID and face scan videos. Then the data centers and flock camera infrastructure will be in place to setup the new world order.
As a reminder, Discord has had no less than two data breaches, one of which they tried to pass off as the vendor's fault when in reality, it came from their OWN support portal, meaning that time was on them.
Make of that what you will.
You must call your representatives today. Public backlash can change this. This bill package is a privacy destroying abomination that will require data collection and ID verification for large parts of the internet. The vote will happen on Monday the 29th.
The AC discourse is pretty much proving that Climate Alarmism is just about deindustrializing the west

Discord is beginning to implement Incode for age verification, a move that is already sparking serious privacy concerns among users. While Discord claims that Incode processes biometric data locally via on-device AI without permanent server-side logging, sharing sensitive IDs and selfies with any third-party vendor remains a massive red flag for many. Given Incode's controversial history with platforms like TikTok, where the vendor was heavily criticized for long retention periods and storing biometric data server-side, users who expect strict privacy are highly skeptical about handing over their biometrics, regardless of Discord's current technology claims.
