Hello world! Welcome to @uxdesignroast previously @uxdesignrant. Here we will admire good design, roast bad design!

#MacOS27 Why some buttons are Liquid Glass some are not? #uidesign #ui #design #liquidglass

It’s here! #iPadOS27 #bug #UI

[UXDesignRoast @uxdesignroast]

Can you spot where the space key is? #iPadOS27 #Bug #UI

[UXDesignRoast @uxdesignroast]

??! #iOS27

[UXDesignRoast @uxdesignroast]

This is #iOS27 RC and @Apple still haven’t fixed this UI bug… Steve Jobs gonna cry out from the tomb…

[UXDesignRoast @uxdesignroast]

So I used Github Copilot to vibe coding a Figma plugin, it failed to fix a bug that I ask it to fix many times, then it says I have reached the limit, then I swapped to normal Copilot, uploaded manifest and ask it to fix. it fixed it straight away, what’s the issue here?

I hadn't logged into Notion for a while. When I did today, I actually paused, unsure how to even get started. I know software deteriorates over time — but this is Notion... 😢

[UXDesignRoast @uxdesignroast]

Every design needs to be Poka-yoke design

[Chris @Nyerider]

Hey @Tesco my shopping basket kept auto adding Ginger. As much as I love the stuff I don't have a spare £2million for it.

[UXDesignRoast @uxdesignroast]

Such an invading privacy move from @YouTube product design team, it’s now showing your other premium family member without your consent in the account selection screen! 👎 - Better #UX prompt to add manually rather than automatically add then require removing.

[UXDesignRoast @uxdesignroast]

Cool micro interaction animation here #PikminBloom #gamedesign #UI

[UXDesignRoast @uxdesignroast]

Apparently the best way to communicate with a real human is to not to speak

[UXDesignRoast @uxdesignroast]

Well, this is awkward #macOS Tahoe #UI #Design

[UXDesignRoast @uxdesignroast]

Really #uxcopy

[UXDesignRoast @uxdesignroast]

Some crazy CAPTCHA verification, it asked to select the right answer from 12 options and it has 3 rounds! #UX #UI #captcha #design

[UXDesignRoast @uxdesignroast]

Why does it show 9 unknown callers but nothing when you get there?! #iOS26 #bugs

[Alex • axoi.studio @albrch20]

What on earth is going on here 😂

Left aligned text and input but central symbol?!

Revert in beta 5 please Apple

[UXDesignRoast @uxdesignroast]

This Ambient Sound music is an underrated feature. It gives you free access to Sleep/Chill/Productivity/Wellbeing songs. It’s part of Accessibility but can be accessed quickly through Control Centre. #iOS18

[UXDesignRoast @uxdesignroast]

Understand left align text is easier to read but the passcode as well? #iOS26Beta4

[UXDesignRoast @uxdesignroast]

Yes, I believe Apple is doing A/B testing as the Safari tabs is still a scrolling picker

[aether @AetherAurelia]

iOS 26 db4 reversed the direction of scrolling in the camera selector, and it just feels wrong. it’s a scrolling picker, anywhere else, swiping left scrolls the content right. now it scrolls left. it breaks the expectation, and you end up covering the option you’re selecting too
