Btw this was supposed to be this week’s newsletter issue but I pushed it to next week.
One of the reasons I encouraged students to use non-tech businesses for their projects is so that we become more business minded and learn to solve business problems without being overly reliant on the tech.
It’s easy to say let’s redesign the onboarding to improve conversion. But that may not always be where the problem lies. What if the problem is really with the value proposition of the business? What if it’s in the marketing?
If we limit ourselves to simply fixing the product, we miss other solvable problems in the business itself.
So we’re building business minded UX strategists out here🎉
Oh and subscribe to @uxsonwheels’ newsletter so you don’t miss next week’s issue!! (L i n k i n thread)
UX Strategy isn't limited to digital products alone,
We were assigned a task to create one for any business of our choice and I chose my friend's business for this assignment .
Thank you @stephanieorkuma for this opportunity.
New @uxsonwheels newsletter issue out now.
Introduced the concept of RCAs for problem solving in business and UX.
Run, don’t walk, to go and read now🧏🏽♀️
In today's newsletter, @stephanieorkuma talked about how your environment directly influences the quality of your thoughts.

Last week, @stephanieorkuma covered integrating business strategy in UX Strategy and led a session on stakeholder interviews. She explained the 5 questions to answer at the beginning of any project and how to conduct a stakeholder interview.
Here's an excerpt from the class👇🏽
Dear UX Strategists: Don't see "This isn't working" as a dead end. See it as a springboard!
Don't be afraid to pivot and explore new ideas.
That way, you'll be on your way to creating great experiences that will bring about groundbreaking results.
I'm building @uxsonwheels for the next person trying to learn UX Strategy.
I struggled to find useful, relatable resources as a UX Designer in Nigeria learning UX Strategy, but that's going to change.
And first stop is my newsletter.
