🚀June Winner: This single ad hit $290K in ad spend. The brand's month ever!
Posting this late. It’s already August. We found a couple more winners in July. I’ll share those soon too.
Here’s what I did next with this winner:
The original winner used a girlfriend-and-boyfriend founder angle. I created a new iteration using a mom-and-son founder story, where the mom tells a story how her son made this pillow - for her.
We already had plenty of real footage, so I only created a few extra AI shots to complete the story.
Surprisingly, that version is taking off too.
90% real footage
10% AI ( ChatGPT + Seedance or Veo 3 )
also Here's what im focusing on for the next 3-4 concepts at least.
I saw @ecommmoose talking about reverse scripting: first, place all your best footage on the timeline in an order. Then write the script around the footage instead of forcing footage to match a script.
I’ve always loved videos made this way, whether they were ads or just YouTube Shorts I watched. idk why I never thought try them.
I scripted a Facebook ad that spent $668,000
And I wrote it completely backwards… I’ll explain.
This 1 simple tweak will change how you write ads forever.
Like + RT + comment “Script” (must be following) & I’ll DM you a video of me writing one step-by-step.
Or steal what I did here:
1. Write the visuals first. Scene by scene.
2. No copy. No script yet.
3. Just describe what the viewer needs to see to get sold.
Here’s the philosophy:
Imagine you had no words.
You had to sell purely with visuals.
Get hyper descriptive.
Every shot should clearly communicate the problem, solution, or benefit
without needing a single word.
Then write the script after.
That’s the big difference and where the magic happens.
The copy only exists to support what’s already on screen.
Trim it. Cut any fluff.
Polish with AI if you want — but the heavy lifting is done by the visuals.
This is the exact scripting process I used to scale this ad to $668K in spend.
Why it works:
→ People believe what they see, not what they hear.
→ If you can sell someone visually, it feels undeniable.
→ It’s one of the strongest persuasion levers in paid media.
Most skip this step.
They dump it on an editor to figure out the B-roll…
Putting little to no thought into it.
This is the part I obsess over.
And it’s why this ad was able to scale to this level.
I made a full video breaking this down step by step.
Like + RT + comment “Script” and I’ll DM it to you.
@ecommmoose thanks alot for sharing this. I ‘ve seen ads like this before, but I’d never thought of doing one this way.
gonna try it for one of the brands I’m working with. We already have plenty of footage, so honestly Idk why I’ve been sleeping on this.
I’ll update you how it performs
