Today, the #UnitedZimbabweAlliance joins the continent in celebrating #AfricaDay, a commemoration of our collective triumph over colonial subjugation and a celebration of our diverse cultural heritage. #AfricaDay2026#NoMore
Today I join members of The African Federation from across Africa and the diaspora for the TAF Global Conference 2026, a virtual gathering focused on the structures, partnerships and pathways needed to advance a more united and prosperous Africa.
Under the theme “Africa’s Future Is What We Do Now,” this conference will present TAF’s vision, strategic priorities and practical opportunities to engage through Chapters, strategic Focus Units and collaborative initiatives.

In a country facing real hardship, this “Hunger Games” display reflects a troubling disconnect from the lived realities of citizens. It’s a stark reminder of how distorted priorities have become, particularly among those close to Emmerson Mnangagwa.
On this Workers' Day, the United #Zimbabwe Alliance salutes the resilient men and women who remain the backbone of our nation despite a collapsing economic environment. We believe that labour is not a commodity to be exploited, but the primary driver of national development.
#Zimbabwe at 46 - A sacred milestone, but a stalled revolution. Today, #UZA honours our liberators by speaking the truth: Political independence without economic dignity is an uncashed cheque: https://t.co/kiSXI78oOW
Today we honour the resilience, leadership and quiet strength of #Zimbabwean women, in our homes, our communities, our workplaces and every space where progress is built. #UZA celebrates women not just for what they endure, but for what they lead, create & transform. #LetHerLead
The Constitution exists to protect citizens, limit the concentration of power & preserve institutional balance. Proposals that alter presidential term limits or remove the direct election of the President raise serious constitutional & democratic concerns: https://t.co/K9WeKSncpD
A new year doesn’t change the country, people do. As 2026 begins, #Zimbabweans carry hard lessons, real hopes & a shared responsibility to do things differently. This year we choose courage & collective effort because the future is not promised, it is built by us, the citizens!

This #Christmas, we pause to remember what truly matters. Even in difficult times, the strength of #Zimbabwe has always lived in its people. May this season remind us to look after each other and keep faith in what we can build together. #AsWeBuildZim
Did you know? International agencies revised #Zimbabwe’s 2025 outlook upward: multilateral forecasts and IMF briefings pointed to a stronger economic rebound driven by agriculture, mining and remittances - a healthier growth outlook than the immediate post-drought period.
Our vision as the United #Zimbabwe Alliance is active participation in public affairs and nation building by the people of Zimbabwe and the achievement of sustainable economic growth commensurate with our natural endowments. #AsWeBuildZimbabwe
In Zimbabwe and across Africa, too many have confused power with entitlement. But leadership must never be inherited, imposed, or bought: it must be earned through the will of the people. #AsWeBuildZim#Inspiration

Did you know? The #lithium sector accelerated in 2025, with exports and investment rising sharply as Zimbabwe positioned itself as a growing global supplier of battery minerals (spodumene). This strengthened foreign-earnings prospects and investor attention on value-addition opportunities.
#UZA is a political party committed to championing engagement of all people of Zimbabwe for the protection and realisation of national unity, dignity, posterity, and justice. Learn more at https://t.co/iVZ1djqTmT
I hope my story inspires other women to embrace leadership roles. I envision a world where women have a voice and confidently assume leadership responsibilities. As women, we have the power to effect positive change for we are the architects of our own communities. @PresValerio
In consultation with the citizens of Zimbabwe, #UZA will review all existing labour policies and laws that are retrogressive and insensitive to contemporary social and economic systems. We will ensure the good welfare of all employees in Zimbabwe. Learn more at https://t.co/KGBhsmRGH4
As the year ends, we look back at #Zimbabwe's milestones in 2025, starting with the election of Kirsty Coventry as the first African President of the International Olympic Committee: https://t.co/hdQ5rAheKw
