@danwwang On "no finish line":
- US leads platforms but hollowed manufacturing (25% → 12% share)
- China leads manufacturing but faces demographic cliff + chip dependency
- Germany leads niches but energy costs ~3x US
@danwwang On long-term ecosystems:
- US: Capital depth (64% global VC) + talent magnet
- China: Manufacturing density + state scale. Full stack from rare earths to EVs
- EU (Germany): Precision + standards. ASML monopoly, hidden champions

But even v1.5 changed my morning routine. Sometimes the best product is the one built by and for yourself.
Every morning, AI acts as my Chief of Staff:
1) Aggregates updates from iMessage + email
2) Scores contacts by priority tier
3) Guided triage: reach out / skip / snooze
4) Highlights "you should talk to X today".
The system forces me to show up.
Both became "the one" in their fields.
Spending some downtime reading "The Snowball".
Buffett read annual reports for fun.

@bgurley called Dylan's story "the most deterministic mentor pursuit in history."
Realized Buffett's pursuit of Graham was the same:
- Showed up
- Got rejected (despite offering to work for him for free!!)
- Kept coming back
