Now, this is the problem.

I personally know that middle belt is ethnically different from the core North.

But, in those years those killings were happening even before 1966, Middle Belt was not a thing.

Some say Igbo people cry victim but the funny thing is, you can't name incidents were a group of people were killed in any Igbo region, but then there are countless events of Igbo people being killed in the north (generalised) over funny issues and no government wants to address those.

I know you well and what you stand for, but we must acknowledge the real causes of the tension that escalated to everything else, the north easily kills the south if a small problem bursts out but it's not like that here and this is the main issue.

It even played out during the Nigerian Biafran war, and it was justified by all is fair in war (same APC mantra for all is fair in election): you see Northern military men killing non fighting people at churches, schools etc. So if you look closely you will see that there is an issue and this issue is; a part easily wants to kill another part.

Middle Belt people have no direct issue with the south but some how maybe not most, the middle Belt joins the north to form a block thereby joining an indirect issue.

I thought it was just Asaba Massacre, I never knew we have documented Isheagu Massacre where innocent civilians including King and his entire cabinet were lined up by Nigerian soldiers and slaughtered. Nigeria committed atrocious act against Ndi Igbo.
