Belagavi Police have booked BJP leader Dr Ravi Patil and 20–25 others over allegations of attempting to delete the names of 198 Muslim voters from electoral rolls using forged documents and false information during the ongoing SIR.
The FIR was registered on September 30 following a complaint by a Booth Level Agent.
