bookfest was so.... SO badly organised.... there were no clear lines, there was barging and arguments, none of the staff knew anything so we had to find things out from people scouting ahead who also had no idea what was going on, it was horrific !!!!!
waterstones bookfest was HELL ON EARTHHHH today. mad overcrowding. no air con. no signs. staff didnt know wtf was going on. queues that led to nowhere because people didnt know where to go. give me a call @Waterstones and I'll plan next year's x
Part of what makes men’s sports so successful is how easy it is to be a *casual* fan.
Right now, in women’s sports, you have to put in a diehard fan’s effort to get the most basic information.
That’s what needs to change.
A really obvious example of this is how Panic! At The Disco, My Chemical Romance, and Fall Out Boy were all revered as the “holy trinity of emo” in the early 2010s. Paramore were always an afterthought in that conversation.
