@GrantlyAWheeler @FrankelWatch13 If they use Minnie as a pacemaker the game is gone, but wouldn’t happen, she will be ridden for her best chance, I’d say the drift is entirely down to Ryan choosing BC & thats down to future stud value for Coolmore, it maybe she won’t run. Love both but I think Minnie is better

Via sistina won 1 group 1 in Uk & only got a higher rating than Barnavara as a 5 year old. Shes improving massively & is only a 3 year old. Deluding urself based on what Via has done in Australia since. Via got destroyed by Nashwa on one of her final runs here

Had a foot in each camp, paid to play along with both 😂 watching the pair of them was a great introduction to racing along with The Minstrel & Lester on the flat, great memories

I was a Coe fan my brother Ovett and we would never agree on who was better & when you look back it doesn’t matter
Still look on them as the 2 best middle distance runners ever, the summer they were breaking each others world records each time they ran was crazy

@maxcouch @oban890 I’d say their peaks were different years, NN beat Monksfield he was at his peak & Monksfield beat NN it was his peak with NN having already won 2 CH & just on the way down
So I don’t think the “3/2” score really matters
Just the golden era of hurdlers & they were the very best 2

@maxcouch @oban890 Think you should include one of the other 4 meetings was a dead heat where night nurse was giving monksfield 6lb so id say that really should be classed as 2 from 5 & that Night Nurse has the higher official rating overall
But toss of a coin who was the better horse

AOB won’t run all 4, he’s covering himself for whatever the weather does
