Recent history. McBride, former chair of the money committee, turned on State Board of Ed for questioning $1 million line items in state budget for Imagine Math & Reading. Spoiler alert... it didn't lift student outcomes. Local control state's don't buy curriculums, districts do. Imagine Learning lobbies the state legislature aggressively (including then McBride). McBride, immediately after terming out, registered as a lobbyist and took a group of OK superintendents abroad to see how "Democratic Socialism" does public ed. Was he ever truly an R? Inquiry minds think not.

So far Drummond hasn't blamed his wife

Wow! What a year! This has been!
We have, without a doubt, been stretched in so many ways, but our faith and strength has compounded.
After driving around 100K miles to 77 counties, running 386 miles down route 66, speaking at almost 300 events, and meeting thousands of Oklahomans, we took a couple of days off to recharge, refocus and pray about the next season. And we are excited about what's to come!

As it goes in politics, there are endless rumors, speculations, and just blatant lies. I'm pretty immune to them by now. People are going to talk - especially on X - but few talk directly to me. Those who reach out for clarity, usually get a pretty quick answer straight from me. Those who don't reach out, never wanted clarity to begin with. They like the drama. Personally, I try to minimize it.

Let me clarify a few things.
No, I haven't made any back room deals.
No, I didn't start a Go Fund Me to pay off my mortgage (nor did I have anything to do it).
No, I wasn't recruited to split the vote.
No, I haven't endorsed anyone yet.
No, Oklahoma isn't doomed.

Yes, I'm staying in the fight.
Yes, I will be working across the state on critical cultural reform - those things government can't do.
Yes, Oklahoma's best days are ahead.
