I'm joining OpenAI next week!๐ฅน The job search turned out to be really challenging but also super rewarding, so I wrote a small blog to share what I learned along the way and hopefully make the process a little less mysterious for the next person. https://t.co/6FigSBdenD
tried to rawdog neetcode 150 in one sitting. well i only did around 20 problems, but also didnt commit as much as I said I would. If i didnt left my room, id probably be at 50ish. need to do better.
1/7 see i dont know how to be good at research. I will just tell you my experience with research. I may be wrong, so dont take my word for it and just see if any of this makes sense to you.
what is research? i think it is to find something.-
7/7 once you have a solution, yeah you just academically write it down nicely as a research paper with all the formalities done, get it peer reviewed multiple times then draft a application to a publisher to get it published. again I am not that good at this stuff. hope it helps
6/7 I think this is the fundamentals to it, there is more stuff to keep in mind like the structure etc. for that you just need to read other research papers and see how they did it. most of them follow a pattern that I described above. ( could be wrong )
1/4 Getting a job is easy but getting a job that you want is hard. You can go to the next convenience store and start working for below working wage but that's not what you want, regardless you will have a job though.
Now to get the job you want...
