A lot of people don’t know this, but many of the missiles and the drones that Russia uses to attack and kill Ukrainians come from Iran… especially the Shahed drones. Those are the same drones Iran is using to murder US soldiers with assistance from Russia, as Russia is providing Iran with satellite imagery to target and murder Americans in the Middle East.

When I was inside the @SkyfallUA drone facility, I signed two of the P1-SUN drone interceptors.

On one of them, I wrote, “this one is for you Iran.”

I won’t say just yet who I signed the other one for. 🥳

In Ukraine, the P1-SUN has been nicknamed the “Penis drone”, because when it lands, it “F**ks” whoever it touches.

Zelenskyy Acknowledges Fedorov's Effectiveness and Announces His Return to a Strategic National Security Role

The political drama surrounding the government's reshuffle has taken a completely new turn, significantly changing the political landscape. Following widespread public debate, former Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov's press conference, and public appeals from volunteers and the business community, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made an important statement. The president publicly praised Fedorov's performance as head of the Ministry of Defense, acknowledging that the technological leap made by Ukraine's Armed Forces over the past six months has been exemplary, and announced the reformer's return to the government in a fundamentally new and unexpected role.

The Office of the President confirmed that the country's leadership reached a consensus on Fedorov's future role after he publicly declined a standard advisory position, insisting instead on receiving real authority to continue military reforms.

During a working meeting with the newly formed Cabinet of Ministers led by Prime Minister Serhii Koretskyi, President Zelenskyy specifically addressed the importance of preserving the reform team's potential. He stressed that disagreements over the military and conflicts between government institutions should not overshadow achievements that have already produced tangible results on the battlefield—particularly the large-scale drone programs and Ukraine's domestic ballistic missile program.

According to sources close to the Presidential Office, Zelenskyy acknowledged that the original plan to remove Fedorov from the government's executive structure because of disagreements with the General Staff had been a tactical mistake that created unnecessary public tension.

> "Mykhailo Fedorov has proven that he can break through bureaucratic barriers and create asymmetric advantages against the enemy. His dismissal as minister during the government's restructuring was a procedural step, but he remains an integral part of our team. The state highly values his contribution, and we have prepared a role where his full potential can be realized without the limitations of a traditional ministerial office," Zelenskyy said, effectively putting an end to behind-the-scenes speculation and apologizing for the wave of destructive rumors in the media.

A Special NSDC Mandate: His New Role

Because the parliamentary approval process for the new Cabinet involved a complex series of personnel changes—including the appointment of Acting Defense Minister Yevhen Khmara—an alternative and much more flexible leadership position was created for Fedorov.

According to preliminary information from presidential advisers, Mykhailo Fedorov will receive a direct appointment to Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) as Chairman of the Defense MilTech and Strategic Planning Coordination Council. Reporting directly to the President, he would receive an expanded mandate that includes:

Coordinating all defense technology projects, including the Brave1 platform, long-range unmanned systems, and the missile program, with direct oversight that bypasses mid-level approvals within the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff.

Auditing military procurement by creating a transparent digital system for overseeing defense logistics and reducing corruption risks.

Maintaining direct cooperation with Western partners as the chief negotiator responsible for attracting foreign investment into Ukraine's high-tech defense industry.

Reaction in Parliament and Society: The Crisis Appears Resolved

News that President Zelenskyy and Mykhailo Fedorov had reached an agreement—and that the reformer would return with broader powers—was met with noticeable relief among political circles and volunteer organizations.

It has been a great honor to serve the Ukrainian people as the Minister of Defense.

Here is what our team managed to achieve:

1. Disabled Starlink access for Russian forces.

2. Took over a Ministry of Defense with zero budget, took a risk, reallocated funds from payroll from the end of the year, and effectively invested them in mid-strike capabilities, fiber-optic FPVs, low-cost reconnaissance, ground robotic platforms, interceptor drones, and deep-strike drones.

3. Launched "Logistical Lockdown", this cut off enemy logistics and initiated the isolation of Crimea.

4. Continued the funding program for the Drone Line.

5. Launched a support program for modern drone-assault units that rely primarily on advanced technologies in combat.

6. Introduced a 70% advance payment policy for procurements made via e-Points on the Brave1 Market portal.

7. Fundamentally overhauled the procurement system.

8. Procured thousands of pickup trucks, buggies, and ATVs for the military for the first time—and did so through open tenders.

9. The drone interception rate rose from 83% to 91%, and the cruise missile interception rate soared from 47% to 87%.

10. Contracted Patriot PAC-2 GEM-T missiles for the first time, and submitted an application through an EU loan to purchase PAC-3 missiles.

11. Launched a baseline drone supply system for brigades and corps.

12. Launched a massive grant program for manufacturers of explosives and missiles.

13. Initiated an unpopular but vital transformation of the military.

14. Conducted three UDCG meetings, where we successfully broke through the Russian information trap claiming our defeat, restoring partners' faith in Ukraine. This secured $40 billion in support announced for this year (excluding the EU loan).

15. Launched the mechanism to utilize the EU loan for our military priorities.

16. Found a way to scale cheap missiles against jet-powered Shaheds and signed a record-breaking contract.

17. Our domestic ballistics. We radically revised the technical specifications, maximized accuracy, and reduced the cost by 30%.

18. Signed a contract to procure Gripen fighter jets.

19. Collaborated with the military to plan and execute Operation Auchan, which halted the enemy's mechanized offensive for six months.

20. Opened up exports under the Drone Deal program to attract investment and scale up domestic defense-industrial complex (OPK) production.

21. Launched the Trophy Lab, providing partners with the opportunity to study captured Russian military technologies.

22. Launched the Defense AI Center A1 to accelerate the integration of artificial intelligence on the battlefield.

Polished floors, humming air conditioners, and desks covered with neatly organized reports—that was the atmosphere in which the commander of Ukraine's most renowned drone unit was invited to speak. Officials expected another routine briefing. Instead, Madyar came to deliver a reality check.

Placing his trademark pointer—the one he normally uses to dissect enemy equipment frame by frame—on the table, he calmly addressed those present, his voice carrying unmistakable steel.

Following the Israeli Embassy’s statement regarding a video allegedly filmed during the June 21 protest—in which members of the “Brotherhood” were supposedly chanting Nazi slogans and making Nazi gestures—we refrained from jumping to conclusions and decided to meet with Dmytro Korchynskyi in person.

Now to the point.

First, the video that was circulating on social media has absolutely no connection to the aforementioned protest. It was filmed much earlier, and the people in it, according to our information, are not members of “Brotherhood” or any other Ukrainian patriotic organizations. These are underage provocateurs who were likely paid by Russian special services interested in such provocations.

Second, Dmytro Korchynskyi and the members of “Brotherhood” are Ukrainian patriots who respect all nations, religions, and faiths. They are not anti-Semites. Dmytro Oleksandrovych specifically emphasized that he has great respect for the Jewish people and the State of Israel and appreciates the assistance that the Jewish community and Israel have provided to Ukraine since the very first days of Russia’s full-scale invasion.

I have already spoken with Israel’s Ambassador to Ukraine, Mikhail Brodsky, during which I explained that the embassy staff had been misled. I hope that law enforcement agencies will find all these provocateurs.

Right now, it is very important not to allow these provocations to drive a wedge between Ukraine and Israel, as well as the Jewish community around the world.

We stand on the same side—on the side of Light, on the side of Ukraine, and on the side of truth!

La strategia ucraina di strangolamento delle filiere logistiche russe sta drasticamente accelerando. Tra i colpi messi a segno questa notte, alcuni sono di straordinaria rilevanza strategica e meritano di essere raccontati.

Nel giro di poche ore, sono stati distrutti ben cinque impianti radar in Crimea (Capo Tarkhankut, Severne, Snezhnoye, Portove e Steregushche, località quest’ultima dove è stato distrutto anche l’impianto missilistico OSA, che doveva difenderla), i quali formano una catena continua che sorveglia l'angolo nord-occidentale della penisola, proprio lo specchio di mare che guarda verso l'estuario del Dnipro e Odessa, e che rappresentavano gli occhi della Flotta del Mar Nero e dell'aviazione russa per la caccia ai droni aerei e marini.

Al di là del colossale danno economico ed operativo (per la costruzione e la taratura di strumenti di questo tipo possono essere necessari persino anni, tanto più per un paese sotto sanzioni, che ha oggettive difficoltà a reperire la componentistica occidentale necessaria) ora si rischiano conseguenze pesanti per l’intera penisola. Innanzitutto, senza questi 5 radar, la Russia ha perso la capacità di avvistare a lungo raggio i droni di superficie ucraini (Magura V5, Sea Baby), esponendo di fatto tutto il fianco occidentale della Crimea ad attacchi (e potenziali sbarchi) che a questo punto non possono più essere scoperti per tempo. In secondo luogo, con il colpo a Capo Tarkhankut si sono resi inutilizzabili i sistemi missilistici costieri Bastion, che tengono anche sotto tiro città come Odessa, lanciando i pericolosi missili supersonici Oniks.

Ma soprattutto il danneggiamento dei radar di Portove e Steregushche, che monitoravano le rotte aeree a bassa quota, comporta la creazione di un "corridoio cieco" nel nord della Crimea. Attraverso questa falla, i droni kamikaze a lungo raggio e i missili ucraini possono volare indisturbati e a bassissima quota per colpire i ponti d'emergenza o i treni merci diretti al mega-hub di Dzhankoi, senza che le batterie contraeree interne ricevano il preavviso radar. Vista la sequenza serrata di questi giorni, non è escluso che quest’ultimo colpo sia finalizzato a neutralizzare le ultime difese rimaste a protezione dell’unico collegamento ancora pienamente funzionante tra la penisola e la parte occupata di Kherson, la linea ferroviaria, senza la quale il traffico pesante sarebbe del tutto interrotto.

Tuttavia le cattive notizie per la Russia arrivano anche da Donetsk. Le forze ucraine hanno preso di mira e pesantemente danneggiato il ponte sul fiume Hruzkyi Yelanchyk a Novoazovsk, la "porta d'ingresso" dell'intero corridoio terrestre russo, a pochissimi chilometri dal confine sovrano della Federazione Russa. Novoazovsk si trova infatti sulla direttrice dell'autostrada M14, l'arteria vitale che i russi utilizzano per far entrare i convogli pesanti su gomma da Rostov sul Don verso Mariupol, Berdiansk e, infine, Melitopol e Kherson. Il ponte sul fiume Hruzkyi Yelanchyk era stato ristrutturato e potenziato dai russi nel 2024 proprio per aumentare la portata dei carichi logistici pesanti e sostenere lo sforzo bellico nel sud. I rapporti sul campo e le immagini satellitari confermano che l'attacco della notte scorsa ha centrato in pieno i camion militari russi che lo stavano attraversando. Il ponte è ora ridotto a una sola corsia agibile, forzando le autorità di occupazione a vietare il transito ai TIR pesanti e a deviare il traffico su strade secondarie e sterrate, allungando drasticamente i tempi di percorrenza.

Il fatto che queste azioni di questa portata vengano compiute in pochi giorni o addirittura in poche ore, senza dare alla Russia il tempo di adottare contromisure e seguendo un’unica strategia, rivela la straordinaria capacità di adattamento e di coordinamento delle forze armate ucraine, tanto più rispetto a quelle di Mosca, storicamente afflitte da rigidità e burocrazia e costrette dall’approccio repressivo ad edulcorare i rapporti, impedendo ai vertici militari di conoscere la reale situazione sul campo.

Ma soprattutto le capacità raggiunte dai droni ucraini stanno vanificando del tutto i vantaggi che la Russia contava di capitalizzare sul campo: la superiorità demografica, non più sufficiente - vista l’impietosa sproporzione di vittime tra le due parti - e la vastità delle aree conquistate, spacciate spesso anche dai propagandisti nostrani come il metro con cui misurare il trionfo di Putin, ma che, ora che nulla lì è più al sicuro, rischiano invece di diventare un insostenibile Vietnam che, per chi ha scommesso tutto sulla vittoria totale, equivale alla peggiore delle sconfitte.

Dankzij Dictator #Trump heeft Oekraïne het initiatief in de oorlog tegen Rusland over genomen en ik ga precies uitleggen hoe dat komt. Trump heeft anderhalf jaar geleden alle militaire steun aan Oekraïne stopgezet. Hoewel Russische propagandisten beweerden dat de oorlog daarmee binnen twee weken beslist zou worden, is dat niet gebeurd. Oekraïne werd gedwongen om zelf alternatieven te bedenken voor de Amerikaanse steun en dat hebben ze als volgt gedaan:
- Shells & artilleriesystemen --> Oekraïne produceert nu zelf 2.4 miljoen shells en zo'n 500 moderne artilleriesystemen per jaar. Dat is het dubbele van heel Europa.
- In plaats van artillerie is Oekraïne over gegaan op fpv drones, waarvan ze er dit jaar naar schatting 7 miljoen gaan produceren.
- HIMARS --> Die zijn vervangen door Oekraïense mid strike drones waarvan ze er 100.000en produceren per jaar. Vooral de FP 1 en 2 drones zijn zeer succesvol.
- ATACMS --> Oekraïne produceert nu zelf op grote schaal kruisraketten, de FP-5 Flamingo, die een veel groter bereik hebben, een veel grotere lading aan explosieven dragen en veel goedkoper zijn in productie. Ook werkt Oekraïne aan twee verschillende ballistische raketten, de FP-7 en de FP-9.
- Short range Luchtverdedigingssystemen --> Oekraïne is het eerste land dat succesvol interceptiedrones heeft ontwikkeld en op schaal kan produceren en deze kennis inmiddels doorverkoopt aan andere landen. Andere landen die niet langer de VS vragen om hulp, maar Oekraïne.
- Long range Luchtverdedigingssystemen --> Dit is voor Oekraïne het lastigste, maar ook daar zijn ze mee bezig. Oekraïne is bezig met een goedkoop alternatief van de Patriot raket en deze zouden in Augustus in productie moeten gaan.

Oekraïne werd verweten door Trump dat ze geen kaarten hadden. Daardoor moest Oekraïne al al deze technologische ontwikkelen. Dat is ze gelukt en ook nog binnen zeer korte tijd. Dat is zeer indrukwekkend. Dit bewijst nog maar eens dat wij als Europa Oekraïne nodig hebben. Voor hun kennis, hun ervaring, hun productie en voor de veiligheid tegen Rusland. Die oranje dictator in het gouden huis gaat ons namelijk niet helpen.
