@adrianfclarke Good job, well written. Any Ferrari of that era would have had the same number of niggles, but you certainly avoided a big hit. That itch scratched... what next ?
@London_W4 One bottle at £4250, or 2 of something else at £ 2125, or ten bottles of £ 425 wine. When I did drink Petrus it was circa £ 800 a bottle depending on vintage... Is it purely to impress others or is it ten times better than a bottle at £ 425 ?
@joncoupland You are right Jon, the M25 does a brilliant job for what it was designed for in 1966. There were approx 10 million cars on the road then - now there are 36 million + lorries, vans etc. The problem is governmental and lack of continued investment in infrastructure
@benonwine Did NOBODY else spot that she had her fingers crossed when taking the oath and know what that means ? I would have thrown her out immediately
@LUDENClassics It took me a long time to understand it. The M25 is one huge piece of moving segmented motion. The speed limits are trying to stop you reaching the next jam too soon, giving it a chance to move on. The real problem is the road was never designed to handle todays volume of traffic
