Remembering Dr. Kenneth Wapnick on the
10th Anniversary of His Transition, and an Observation.
It certainly doesn't seem like ten years since the body of Ken appeared to pass away. For those of you who may not know, Arten and Pursah described Ken in our first book as "the Course's greatest teacher." I write about his transition and include a personal note about him in my fourth book, "The Lifetimes When Jesus and Buddha Knew Each Other." See pages 99-101. I also dedicated the book to him.
Still, I've heard a couple of people say that if Ken was so enlightened then he should have cured his body of cancer. I think they're missing the point. The Course says, and Ken taught, that the body cannot die because it has never lived. There is no body! That's the point. Also, I have it from reliable sources that Ken didn't feel pain in the closing months of his illusory life. That makes sense to me and is right in line with the Course's idea that "the guiltless mind cannot suffer." (T-5.V.)
The Course teaches us that the body represents a limit on awareness. It is the thought of separation given form. It's really the mind that does everything, and we can use it to make the decision to see things the way the Holy Spirit sees them. So when we remember Ken, let's think of these important lines about the body from Workbook Lesson 248, which I heard Ken read in one of his classes:
"What dies was never living in reality, and did but mock the truth about myself. Now I disown self-concepts and deceits and lies about the holy Son of God. Now am I ready to accept him back as God created him, and as he is."
Let's take a moment for gratitude and join with Ken at the level of the mind, for we are One. We thank him for his incredible work and beautiful Spirit. We're all awakening to Reality. God Is.

Donald Trump blames disabled people, FAA diversity programs, Pete Buttigieg and Obama for the air disaster in Washington DC but never mentions the military helicopter that which was in the flight path of a main runway at Washington National Airport and ignored the warning from air traffic controllers.

Elections have consequences. We are facing those consequences right now. Donald Trump should resign or be impeached right now. He is clearly unfit to serve.
