Yo me acuerdo que Uribe siempre hablaba de propiedad privada y capitalismo mientras creaba el impuesto al patrimonio y llenaba este platanal de subsidios. Pero la gente le decía dizque "el muro contra el socialismo."
When you really think about it, the two main goals in life should be getting rich and training, because the normie life will literally kill you on the inside.
This is why the majority of men are depressed; they just won't admit it.
Because what is actually on the menu other than that?
> Sleeping around with random women? Soulless, and you don't love dumb bimbos anyway.
> Working a 9-5? Fine temporarily; however, it's complete slavery and castration of the soul, and you will live the same shitty life on repeat.
> Watching football? You get to a certain age where that doesn't even matter anymore.
> Reading about politics? It's all fake and won't make your life better no matter who wins.
> Watching IG stories? Everyone is insignificant but tries to pretend they're happy, all performative for clicks.
> Listening or being around normies? Just why...?
> Scrolling social media? (I struggle with this at times, funny enough) but about 20% of the stuff on here is cool, the other 80% is slop.
> Drinking alcohol? You're basically an idiot.
> Traveling? Valid every now and then, but you're not going to travel 24/7.
> Visiting places you've seen 150 times before? Boring.
So, other than actually getting as rich as possible and being in fantastic shape, there is nothing.
It's easier said than done of course, but it's better to spend your 20s giving it your all than selling your soul for a 9-5 paycheck, getting in debt and guaranteeing yourself no real future whatsoever. You're going to be 'free' when you're 60+ years old as if that matters.
The world has changed; the traditional route boomers took no longer works, yet you guys want to play a game that's ultimately rigged against you, and then you wonder why you're poor and depressed.
No existe el dinero público. El dinero que tiene el Estado es un dinero que sudaron los colombianos para pagar impuestos. Y por eso debe ser administrado con prudencia y rigor.
Colombia has never experienced real capitalism or progress.
Powerful families have controlled most goods and services for centuries. They kill competition and maintain a closed market, not a free one.
Example: The Vives family in Santa Marta bears much of the blame for its ruin, while the Char family in Barranquilla has done far better.
I hope one day a true free market reaches Colombia, so the whole country can prosper, not just a handful of families.
