The problem with CESC is they operate in SiLos and after receiving a complain a Social media team receives and calls and does not pass on the complain 2 the relevant complain team. How many times are we suppose 2 entertain their calls in working hours ?

I have received multiple calls from the same number making repeated promises of a technician visit and meter inspection, but no action has been taken. I lodged my complaint on 21st June, and today is 7th July with no resolution despite assurances of priority.
Even after your last reply on 30th June promising priority action, no one has come for the meter inspection till today. It's been 2 weeks of complete inaction and drama despite repeated follow-ups. Consumer ID: 46001470821

A guy ordered a Chicken Mughlai Biryani through Zomato's Rescue Food option on 19 June 2026.
The total amount paid was ₹259.55 via UPI.
After placing the order, he noticed that no delivery partner was assigned in the app. He waited for quite a long time, but there was no update. Eventually, he contacted Zomato customer support.
The support executive informed him that the delivery partner was not responding and said that they would cancel the order from their side and process a refund to the original payment method within 24–72 hours.
The order was then marked as "Order was cancelled" in the app.
However, after waiting for the refund, he received an email from Zomato stating:
"As per our policy, a 100% cancellation charge is applied once an order is accepted by the restaurant."
This is what confuses him:
He did not cancel the order himself.
He contacted support only because no delivery partner had been assigned and there was no progress on the order.
Zomato support themselves informed him that they would cancel the order and process a refund.
The cancellation occurred due to delivery-related issues, not because he changed his mind.
Despite this, Zomato is now stating that a 100% cancellation charge applies.
