In September 1986, a German climber set out for a hike in the Swiss Alps — and was never seen again. Nearly 40 years later, melting glaciers revealed his remains and hiking gear. And this is not a unique discovery.

Studies show that glaciers in Switzerland lost half their volume between 1931 and 2016 and another 12 percent between 2016 and 2021.

Recently, this rapid melting has exposed the remains of several of the 300 or so hikers who went missing in the Alps in the last century.

Just when you thought Gullak and Panchayat set the bar high, along comes another gem, #MamlaLegalHai. This show ticks all the boxes, scoring a perfect 10/10 in everything from its story, creativity, attention to detail, and humor to its true-to-life vibe, awesome acting, spot-on casting, cool sets, and slick editing. It's pure originality and essential viewing that'll make you fall in love with every character because they feel like your own.

First off, big shoutout to @PoshamPa_P and Sameer @EightyPackAbs for making it and @NetflixIndia for backing it.

A big salute to the real heroes of the show — the writer @saurabh_khanna who has created a universe where every line and scene is novel, relatable, and engages you with nuanced comedy and tragedy at the same time.

Take a bow director @Raulixm333. Kudos to you for crafting such an engaging show that does justice to every written word and keeps us hooked from start to finish.

The show wouldn’t have been exceptional without mentioning the courage, imagination, and creativity by the casting director Vaibhav @v_v9. What a killer cast.

And @ravikishann, you're a rockstar, man! Kahan chupa ke rakha tha yeh khazana? Ravi, my bro, do you remember when we worked together at the beginning of our careers, I had told you that the camera just loves you… and how?

Shoutout to an effortless @EkThapaTiger who is an asset to the OTT world. Great effort by young Naila Grewal… girl, mark my words, you will go places. There is not a single actor who hasn’t performed well, be it Anant Joshi, Vijay Rajouria, Tanvi, Kala, Rajendra Gupta… the actor who is Langoor… and every single actor whom I am not being able to mention by name. Seriously, everyone nailed it. Proves the point that cinema is a collaborative art.

Watch it this Sunday and please congratulate and encourage such rare and rooted talent. (And don’t forget to thank me for recommending it 😜).

Slowly, but steadily, #IndicRenaissance is becoming a reality.
