‼️SCOTUS rules Monsanto/Bayer can’t be sued for omitting a warning even if their herbicides do cause cancer. Even if the legal reasoning of the court is sound in this case, it’s a blatant travesty of justice. Congress and the President can fix this and we absolutely should.

Today the Supreme Court made it impossible for people who develop cancer after using Roundup to sue Bayer for failing to warn them about the potential cancer risk.

The Trump administration URGED and PLEADED the Court to reach this result to protect a FOREIGN chemical company—and it did at the expense of Americans. What happened to America First?

I OPPOSE the Save Our Bacon Act and any attempt to jam it into the Farm Bill.

This bill would gut state food safety and animal welfare laws, wipe out voter-approved protections, and strip states like NY of the right to set basic standards.

It's a giveaway to Big Ag and meat monopolies, punishing family farmers who followed the rules, while giving the biggest corporations more power to squeeze farmers and families.

Congress should be lowering food costs, not rewarding the monopolies driving them up. The Save Our Bacon Act does not belong in the Farm Bill, and I will fight to keep it out.

I am literally sick. This is a devastating blow to every family that trusted our justice system.

Monsanto just won at the Supreme Court in a 7-2 decision, putting billions of dollars in jury verdicts for Roundup victims at risk. Americans who developed cancer after exposure to Roundup may now be denied the justice that juries across the country determined they deserved.

The message from this ruling is dangerous: if a federal agency approves a product, manufacturers may be shielded from accountability even when people are harmed.

Congress must act immediately.

1️⃣ Congress must pass legislation to correct this decision and restore Americans' right to hold corporations accountable.

2️⃣ During the EPA's upcoming Roundup review, truthful warning labels must be required so consumers can make informed choices.

3️⃣ The Senate must remove the Farm Bill provision that would delay this critical EPA review.

This is a defining moment. Every elected official now has a choice: stand with families harmed by toxic chemicals or stand with the corporations that profit from them.

The American people are watching. We will remember who fought for us and who didn't. Hold their feet to the fire #FoodBabeArmy

@empireAlC Yeah to me personally, also their human faces sometimes have an uncanny valley feeling to me and seem off to me in several instances for some reason. Not always though. But everyone has their own opinions. They do make fun and great games, though from what I have played.
