Yesterday, in response to my question in Parliament, David Lammy confirmed to me that Israel had broken international law in Gaza.
Today, the government rejected that claim.
They had it right the first time.
Ofsted has a new interim chair. He's a trained teacher, became a head, led schools in tough areas, his schools that are now THE BEST in the country for social mobility. Incidentally, he's a muslim. What bit do you think the Telegraph decided to focus on? Utterly disgraceful.
France’s extraordinary election results provide an urgent, valuable lesson.
Don’t concede ground to those who sow division and fear. Build a bold Left movement that offers an alternative of inclusion and hope.
That is how you defeat the far right.
And while the recent attention and media opportunities have been welcome and much appreciated, I'd like to see this kind of interest in our young people all year-round, every year - not just once every 4/5 years for a couple of months.
@TanDhesi@UKLabour Well done tan! Congratulations, now go be the voice we seek and light for the right path.
The people choose you once again & it’s promised for you to see the front benches, so for whatever reason your integrity was doubted, it’s time to restore your truth. Do justice by it
All the odds were stacked against Jeremy Corbyn.
He’s one of the only independents to win a competitive election in a general election since World War II.
He started his campaign late because of loyalty to his old party.
His constituency has a huge turnover.
Labour threw everything at this seat.
He suffered a relentless smear campaign.
He won against huge odds, and his team should be unbelievably proud of what they achieved.
Not too sure how I feel about this but I sure do have my views on religious communities not supporting political views whilst lacking understanding of the fundamental principles.
@CraigLiddell7 Give them a couple of years to wake up and a shed a few tears, the lack of literacy is disruptive. People gotta wake up to engage, before they get stepped upon
@OwenJones84 Thank you!!! The mere grit of Fiza is everything that kept us all going during this election, it would have been a close call but keir has his commitments in the wrong place, hopefully it will be a lesson well learned
